Not in the least SM, we all get excited about a new project.
Sadly I've got too many to finish off before I can start any new ones. Though I've got a couple of small ones for Kezia's nursery which I'm tempted to start soon.
Trying really hard not to buy any more for the minute though. Not really sure why I've had the sewandso website open for the last 6 days!!!Cross Stitch Challenge member 11 - May challenge well under way

Just thought I'd update you all on my progress...
This is where I was at last week:And here is where I'm at now:
Gem I'm really looking forward to seeing you progress with that cut throu design, I really like the imagination of the artist on those designs as there are so many unexpected things in them.
I've had to skip past all the mentions of cheap kits on ebay because I'm far too likely to go buying things I don't need. I've got plenty of stash already!0 -

elliep - Great progress there, I am definitely going to get that one done for my mum, alongside my large projects.
s0237276 - If I had to choose one, it would prob be the ark, but I love them both!!! They are the time of design where backstich is so important to make it strinking. I have been zooming in on e pics to try and make sure the backstitch follows the holes and doesn't require the need to pierce the aida.
As for paintings into stitch, I love Degas' ballerinas, but there's not many of them charted (that I can find anyway) I done a Monet's 'Waterlilies' a couple of years back which I enjoyed. And you've all seen my current Lake pic lolCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Here's where I was at the beginning of January
And here's the progress:
Not much is gonna get done for the next couple of weeks so I'll update on the pressies as I get each but finished. So far have started a bookmark - it has 1 row of double cross stitch on it so not a lot of point to a picture
ETA: WOW the balls of wool look so striking on the pics much more so then when u are looking at them on the aida.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Hi tdd111, Welcome. The more the merrier and it's never too late to join.
I'd ove to see a photo of your sitch a photo horse. I started a sitch a photo of my dog once but got so fed up by the one stitch of each colour, no 'sections' to do all in one colour that I gave up. It's the only project I've ever given up and made the decision never to go back to. And I'm usually pretty good at finishing my current project before starting the next. (you can see my current project, it's the santa a few posts up).
What is everyone elses experience of stitch a photo? My dog died recently and I would still love a cross stitch of him. Did I just have a useless charting programme? I bought it off ebay so I don't know what programme was used to create it.0 -

it reallly depends on the programme and colour quality. I did an IgglePiggle for my neice using a picture i found and a free online programme (tho i can't remember its name ATM). You could choose how many colours you wanted (I think I went for around 10). And it looked ok. But then that is a fantasy toy I think you would want a lot more colours for a lifelike one.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Hi this is my latest cross-stitch cushion. Just love all the colours. These cushions are so quick to make and look great.0
