I seriously need to add a cross stitch fan to my list of must do's so that I can hide my blushes :rotfl::rotfl: Flowers and chocolates indeed! I'm lucky to get hello!

I'm loving the update pictures:T:T but I find myself thinking ooooooooo I'd like to stitch that!

I think that we are all so similar as we were seperated at birth :rotfl::rotfl:

In honor of my fellow potter fans I have changed my avatar back to Harry.

I have only done about 30 stitches if I'm lucky I will get the finger out though  not long to go now!
Oh and I'm a lister too if your not on the list your not getting in!
    I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged
  • perhaps someone who gets the mag could **wink wink nudge nudge** around others in the group and have a group challange to each stitch it before (I don't know July - assuming it is a small one).

The main rule being you MUST NOT use the exact colours it tells you to use so we can have an album with the same project stitched in various colours??

    I love HP toooo. :p

    ooo like that idea :D
    ooo another HP fan

    santa220410.jpg

    looking good :T
Witchwoopiggy - can't wait to see the finished Hogwarts crest, I wonder if you can get any other hp designs.

I got my designs from the leaky-cauldron,(hope its ok to say this) its a free website devoted to Harry Potter, there are free to use patterns on there :D

I have to put my hand up and admit that I'm another list maker, not that it always helps me to remember stuff, I often just loose the lists!
me too , write them then leave them behind, if i try to do hoilday without list i forget loads :rotfl::rotfl:
Still I am quite rather keen on this though, I love the colours and I think it's quite to the bride (and groom's I guess) taste. What do you all think?
    i like that very much

I think that we are all so similar as we were seperated at birth :rotfl::rotfl:
well its nice to have a family that gets on :rotfl::rotfl:

In honor of my fellow potter fans I have changed my avatar back to Harry.
    another fan

Well, I have about 20 stitches left, plus the backstitch, on the practice vest. It is looking pretty good and I had hopes of it being finished this weekend.

However, new baby has arrived sometime very very early this morning so I have now really got to get a move on. I'm not going to find out his name until I can go and meet him and I can't do that until they are home as the hospital is shut due to a norovirus outbreak - typical. I'm very hopeful they will be home this afternoon but will have to wait and see.

Anyway, I've been up since I got the phone call at 3.15am - hence the reason so much of the stitching has been done - as I'm so excited so I thought I'd come and share the wonderful news...

Hope mom and baby are both doing well :)

Chickywiggle That sounds like a really great idea

Bubbles hugs to you and having a number sounds great :D I just need to sort out a challenge properly this time! :o

Ali.b.123 The patterns came yesterday thank you so much :) sorry i didn't come on yesterday, wasn't feeling too great.

Been looking at peoples updates, they are all so lovely

i was reading something yesterday and thought it could be really nice but wondered what you all thought....

A round robin thing where we pick a design and each have a section to do on it and we post it around to each other once we've each finished our section on it. So the finished piece will be a collection of all of work?? No idea what we'd do with the finished piece though :)

Right im determined to keep up with this thread now (or try :rotfl:)

Im off to try and find a 'new job' design for a card

what we COULD do is all stitch a small design (size TBC) and send them to someone on the sowing thread (if there is one) who could stitch it onto a patch. They could send to a named person on the quilting thread (if there is one) who could make one HUGEEE patchwork quilt.

Martin could then auction it for charity????

(ok it needs a bit more work and co-ordination but you get the idea)
