Ah, thanks Ruth, but it's not my baby - it'll be my nephew:T. My baby is coming up to 7 months old:o (where did that time go???). It is her that I am doing the practice vest for before I do the real thing as a gift.

Though I will take you up on the kind offer of posting pics when it is finished. Any excuse to pop her photo on here :o

Told you I was knackered! :o Can barely remember my own name today. I still hope all goes well for the new mum to be. And pics would be good. :)

Found a new cross stitch site that looks good. Free P+P and the kits are cheaper than Sew & So (well, the Cut Thru & Dictionary of... Bothy Threads kits are cheaper, at least. They also seem to have exclusive kits from Juicy Lucy http://www.cottoncrosses.com/juicy-lucy-designs-63-c.asp
I love the 'Let's eat cake for breakfast!' and 'If I could' kits. I'm not buying them, though. But if someone was to buy one for me (hint hint hubby!;)), that would be ok, right???

Off to have a quick bath & off to bed soon...zzzzz...

    Hi everyone

Having a bad day today so no stitcing and I havent managed to read any of the posts. I just wanted to let the 2 people that I am sending stuff to know that I haven got around to sending them yet, still trying to build up courage to go to post office but my mum says she will come with me tomorrow so I will post them then. Hopefully I will feel up to reading and replying to posts then too.

    Take care everyone.

I stitched for a bit this morning, then shortly before lunch, I got a case! :j Expected to last a couple of days, so at least I'm doing something all day tomorrow. It's quite interesting watching the lawyers argue their case. Like being on Law & Order-although not as slick! ;)

I have done jury service and loved it! Though when I first got my call up letter I was bricking it, I really didn't want to do it but I'm now glad I didn't have a reasonable excuse to get me out of it.

My group only had 2 cases to judge and both were guilty verdicts. Only thing I regret is not finding out what sentences/punishments were given in each case. I feel like I have started something and not finished it off....if that makes sense?

:rotfl::rotfl:Reminds me of the time people were shocked to discover that I had taken annual leave to finish a cross-stitch for a birthday present...

Such a bad influence on each other. :T

Right, here's the latest update for you, as promised last night, no french knots yet though, I might do those last.:

Don't apologise for the size, I (personally) think that's perfect. I can see it clearly. Makes my life easier as well lol - my laptop is getting on a bit and sometimes takes a couple of attempts to open links :rotfl:
