That pillow is just gorgeous! How long ago did you stitch it?
I stitched it when Piper was just born so nearly 6 years ago now. It took about a month but it was great to stitch. I also did this one.
both were to go with the afghan that has still not been completed:o.
Thought I'd show you all this I'm very proud of it. It's a little rucksack. It used loads of metalics and was a nightmare to stitch as I had never stitched on ready made stuff before but I'm glad I stuck with it and finished
and before I forget welcome to all the newbiesI'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -
I love looking at your pictures all. They are great, well done everyone on the great work!0

Still haven't uploaded my update of the Taj Mahal and haven't done much in the last 2 days either because I'm just shattered when I get in from work. I suffer with IBS and it's been really severe just recently so I'm now back to basics again - no wheat, no meat, no alcohol and no dairy (is there a song or poem in there somewhere lol). I usually feel much better and have far more energy after this sort of "detox" - in fact I don't know why I keep drifting back to the old eating/drinking habits.
I too have facebook and when I first signed up I was on Farmville constantly but then I got bored so now I have a quick check every day but that's it. Oh, and I love candles, particularly Yankee candles!!
A big welcome to all of the newbies - you'll enjoy it here - it's a bit like a fireside chat and stitch really (you just have to make your own tea).
Anyway everyone have a nice rest of the day. It's nearly the weekend:jProud To Be Dealing With My Debts - DFW Nerd 323

I too struggle with facebook(in particular bejewled blitz and farmtown) and Ebay addiction( I [STRIKE]always[/STRIKE] regularly spend at least £20 a week on there but have been known to spend over 1K a month:o) We are here to help if you would (or anyone else) like to join my support group it will be run on weekday mornings at 10.30 am[STRIKE](that should give me plenty of time to harvest, plow, seed, sell, produce first)[/STRIKE] via my facebook page.:rotfl::rotfl:
Wish I could join your support group but I am at work at 10.30am. I am not too bad on facebook (spend about 10min 3-4 times per day). It is good for me as I have family overseas and I can see daily pictures of my grand nephew growing up. My Ebay addiction is calmed down as I was finding the money was running out and there is more important things to buy - food, gas, electricity, etc. I really enjoying coming on here and seeing how all is getting on with life and cross stitch.
Kind wishes

Thanks for the lovely welcome all and thank you shelly for the photobucket tips, the pictures are now a much more manageable size. :T
I brought my stitching to work today to do in my lunchbreak, but, typical me, forgot to bring any threads so no sewing until later
Instead I have spent lunch trying to decide what my next project will be (although I may be a bit ahead of myself hehe, still got a way to go on santa!).
I love this one but there a few other Christmas ones in the santa book that I want to do as well! And it didn't help my mum was watching over my shoulder last night and saw some she'd like too! How will I ever decide
I have to admit I'm a facebook addict too , and I love farmville. It's dangerous, I can quite easily spend ages harvesting things and moving my animals about. I think I need help!Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger No. 26 :hello:XStitch to do list:-- Birth Sampler -- Christmas Angel -- Mum's Xmas Stitch -- Christmas decs 3 & 4 -- Xmas Bird ---- Snowflake Sonata -- Be Jolly -- JE Unicorn -- Start HAED!!! --0 -

How odd, another of my many illnesses is chronic IBS. I have really bad attacks of it where its so severe I need morphine! I have pain every day with it, going to the loo is a nightmare, used to be diorhea every day but they changed my depression medication and now it can be 10 days for me to go to the toilet (just what everyone wanted to hear!) even when I am taking things to make me go. People dont realise that ibs can truly effect your life as so many people say they have it when they dont.funfairprincess wrote: »Just got this months copy of Cross Stitch Crazy and Piper is in the letters page!
