Rofl sorry i see what it looks like . She is only 2 and had cochlear implants fitted in january as she was profoundly deaf . They switched them on in feb and she goes every 4 to 6 weeks for them to tweak the volume levels to give her a little more hearing each time.

So glad you explained, I had allsorts of strange images in my head! Hope your grandaughter is ok and the implants are helping xxx

Right i'm officially spooked. Everyone on here is so similar, first the cross stitch, then the yankee candles and now the fb addiction. I confess, I too spend way to much time on my virtual farm LOL. Being on this forum is like talking to family :)
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

Still hanging on in there with the schoolwork so no stitching yet - will feel really good when I get it out of the bag on Friday!

Read the article about using time effectively - does work cos I do most of those things but I don't always do the most difficult thing first because I am rubbish first thing in the morning

I'm not addicted to facebook....yet! Only properly joined over the weekend, have had an account as such for ages but never added friends until this weekend.
I haven't played any games either because....
    1) I am a paid member of a gaming site so get my fix there
    2) I'm a little wary of downloading/installing the apps for the games. I know thousands of people do everyday but I know that once I do get the games up and running that will be it!

Lit my yankee candle again today to give it another go and it seems to be giving off more smell/scent/fragrance.

I converted a '2d' cartoon image for a friend and that was pretty much the same, but I did do a lot of work to 'flatten' the colours and also applied my own back stitching.
    This was the end result:

I've converted this photo for a friend and I'm just waiting to see how the progress is going:

That's converted to 16count aida and will measure about 70cm by 46cm (sorry I don't do inches. :o) It's original size was about 90cm wide!
Sorry i missed your post when i skimmed through yesterday, many thanks for the info :) I remember the cartoon one you posted a while ago, thats really great. And  at the Touring Car pic, i would love to see an update on that one, i bet it will be fab when finished. I think i will convert a small picture to try it out before embarking on a large one. Don't worry if i have any questions, i know where to come now

Today I am also being an ebay addict as I have a new craft urge :rotfl:

Hi Louise we are pleased you are able to share your 'illness' with us;). I too struggle with facebook(in particular bejewled blitz and farmtown) and Ebay addiction( I [STRIKE]always[/STRIKE] regularly spend at least £20 a week on there but have been known to spend over 1K a month:o) We are here to help if you would (or anyone else) like to join my support group it will be run on weekday mornings at 10.30 am[STRIKE](that should give me plenty of time to harvest, plow, seed, sell, produce first)[/STRIKE] via my facebook page.:rotfl::rotfl:

My little baby has lost her first tooth today:(. and as luck would have it she is booked in to have photos done with her brothers at the end of the month *insert rolls eyes smilie here*. On the plus side she will be able to use her tooth fairy pillow for the first time and she is all excited about them coming for her tooth.:T
