If I can do it anyone can lol....

*hug* *hug* *hug* xxx..and think of how fragrant your stitching will be.. I found some of my old ones in the drawer last week... BOY they stank!!!! I didn't realise while I'd been smoking!

Dorastar - thank you so much, the blue tit is adorable and very lifelike, i'm sure mum will love it :D. (i'll start later in the year though as her birthday is jan and i'm useless at secrets).
    .:D

Glad it's arrived ok (and that it's not in my 'stash' any more) - shouldn't take long to do either cos it's a nice small size iyswim.

Did a late night again last night (will be getting into trouble with dh now) and carried on with the fairies, and have persevered with metallic wings for them all. Emily keeps checking up on me now and tellin me if I've done enough! Have been seriously decluttering the rest of house today and ended up clearing under stairs cupboard - wasn't actually too bad although dh caught the bug and we ended up taking 5 full binbags to the tip! Didn't realise how much rubbish we were hanging onto in the house:(

Dorastar: My daughter's fallen in love with your fairies and wants me to stitch her it now!

Even though she has about 6 fairies round her room I've stitched already! lol.... When I finish one to give as a possible present she gives me the cow eyes and it ends up on her wall lol

Does it come with just a chart or do you have to buy the kit?

    xx

I had the kit and stitched it for a friends daughter, then when we moved house I lost a box of stuff so have the picture but not what colours it should be iyswim. This time I'm stitching it for Emily using odds and ends of colours and some gorgeous dmc variegated ones that I picked up once cos I knew they'd come in useful. The original has yellowish fairy wings but I've tried metallic this time to make it more fairy-like. Is by Bothy threads and kit is on sewalong I'm sure

How lovely, I have a soft spot for bright colours - I'm stitching sunflowers at the moment and find them very cheery. It's beautifully stitched as well, my stitches never seem quite even.

It takes a while to get used to the tension of it all I suppose. :)

You should finish it mummipig, each bear doesn't really take that long! It's my UFO, had only done two bears (about 3 years ago!) now I've done 6 and am getting excited about finishing it!

Found a photo of it. I've stitched much more than I remembered. Wish I had some clue where the kit is!
