Wow! He looks amazing! How long did it take you to stitch? I'm sure the yellow will wash out.

I'm quite partial to a Dolly Mamas kit! I've stitched 4 now-'It's Official' for my Mum. 'High Maintenance', 'Dear Santa' and 'All I Want For Christmas...' for me. I think there's 2 more in my stash to stitch-the new one and 'Bring Coffee...'

Hi everyone. Happy Easter to you all xxx :icotbaske

Sorry I've not been on for a while, just skimmed through what I'd missed and the UFOs are looking brilliant! Keep up the good work ladies.

Sorry to hear your little boy is poorly Dorastar, hope he feels better soon.

Not done enough of my bears to post an update yet (you'd all think I was slacking but I've had a few cards to sew honest LOL). I'm determined to finish it soon, there are soooo many other nice kits out there, and my son really wants me to start on his Jack Skellington pic.

DH has bought me the lap frame I was after :j, so hopefully after my birthday I should be faster :rotfl:
:xmastree:What a splendid idea, this Christmas sounds fun. I fully endorse it, let's try it at once!:xmastree:

    that's lovely.

Yes.. it was lovely in a frame... all loved but it cost me so much to get framed the first time we haven't done it again so it's just hanging about

Poor thing... should take it to the Dragon's Trust so they can rehome it lol

Yes, I saw that SAFC one online before and stitched it but I need something really lovely as it's his 90th birthday

...if the worst comes to the worst I have it done in a coaster .. can send that but i really don't want to hehe

Thanks for looking for me though xxxx

I think the 20 hours the magazine says is very optimistic! I know you're quite a fast stitcher, though.

Wolf-he was too nice to leave there in a warehouse. He needed a good home where people would appreciate him. Even though we really don't have the space...:) I understand why they sell the display models because the kits are no longer available, but I did think they were underpriced. Think what they'd get on ebay for them... My friend bought 2 baby samplers because she's too lazy to stitch something, but felt like she had to give them a stitched piece because she's stitched something for the other child. ;)
