Blimmin heck - I go out for the day and there are LOADS of posts to read through when I get back!:rotfl::j

pm2326 - I really wish you well giving up smoking, my hubby gave up a few years back and it was the best thing he ever did. (And he saved himself a helluva lot of nagging):D

Emy81 - If you decide to do that caravan kit, give me a shout if you need help to personalise it, I'm happy to help if I can :)

As for me...I don't have much to go until I have finished the seond page of Stealing the Moon, so I'm not letting myself come back online until I have finished it and taken a picture to post :rotfl:
    Until then..au revoir:D

Have made a big decision though, I'm no longer going to smoke! Have one left then that's it...god help me  I keep thinking how much money I waste when I could be spending it on lovely xstitch goodies and have something to show for the money at the end of the day!

Have the lozenges in ready but hoping my stitching will take my mind of it when the cravings start.

    Wish me luck!
HUGE GOOD LUCK VIBES COMING YOUR WAY well done for making the decision:beer:

Googling for free online font generator will probably get you more.

Thanks for the lovely comments on sis folks,,,, I think we have had 2 years we would like to wipe out... mum lost her mum 4 weeks before sis -although she was 95 and kept saying "she had had enough and just wished god would find a little space in his pocket for her" -then we lost sis, mum got breast cancer last year, had a mastectomy and they "got it all" :j-and then I had some of the back of my skull removed..... so I think that all in all a QUIET year would be nice :rotfl:..... Still I know there are plenty of people who have had it worse out there...

Yat I got the multi quote thing to work!

Anyway, it certainly sounds like you have been through hell. When I hear about that it makes me feel like I hve depression for nothing. If you can survive that I should be able to carry on with a smile on my face after what I have been through. I admire your courage. :A *hugs* Oh and thanks for the advice on photo stitch, sounds like the right way to go if I ever get around to it!

Thanks for looking guys, i did google myself and nothing came up. Theres only about 10 colours so i'll colour match them as best i can with a DMC colour chart, same as i'll be doing with the leftover lion threads, the chinese kit doesn't give colour codes :( My monitor is excellent and OH has 20/20 vision so that should help :rotfl:

I bought a DMC colour chart for 5p today in a charity shop and when I got it home I noticed there were 2. So if you or anyone else wants it pm me your address.

I got quite a bit stitching done today but cant be bothered to go upstairs to get the camera so will post tomorrow.

BTW, happy easter guys! I think this is the friendliest thread on MSE! Heres to us!

Lots of lovely work going on here today! Wish I had done some. Might just get sewing tomorrow as we have had to change our plans for the rest of the week.

DS2 was deposited on Friday at Wellington College for a week-long rugby tournament. We were going to watch him tomorrow playing for Scotland against England. Unfortunately DH had to go and pick him up tonight. DS2 has stomach cramps, a high temperature and his sugar levels are waaaaay too high (he is diabetic and is usually very good at maintaining his levels)..so a very sad and sorry-for-himself lad tonight. Assuming he is well enough, he wants to watch the other matches he should have played in on Tuesday and Friday next week...though that will be hard for him.

On a more cheerful note, DH asked me what I wanted for Easter, since I don't usually get an egg...I suggested a X-stitch chart...so ordered a couple (at DH's suggestion!) from H&E in their sale...goodness knows when I will do them as they are yet more big ones!! So I have to really get a move on with The Astronomer, before starting work on these:

I am probably mad....but at least I have work ahead of me for the next few years!!

Will report next week on any stitching I actually get done.

Enjoy the rest of the holiday everyone...Happy Easter!

Looks like I will have to!! :rotfl: Love your work Louise...you really are a fast stitcher...fancy helping me with mine??!

I really have to get my a**e into gear and get stitching every day, even if it is only for an hour or so...then I might get the Astronomer done in the next year or so...I do feel much better whne I have been creative, be it sewing, or getting out into the garden.

At least being home tomorrow will mean I should get some stitching and gardening done...at least that is the plan!! :D

Right off to bed....want to get an early start tomorrow and get things done...wish me luck!
