Here's the progress from 2nd April:
    23645_378226241970_582306970_4186305_3374645_n.jpg

Finally able to start on the top (Bees and Clouds), then it's back-stitching.)

Off to watch my other hobby this weekend, British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), let's hope it stays mostly dry at Thruxton.

How lovely, I have a soft spot for bright colours - I'm stitching sunflowers at the moment and find them very cheery. It's beautifully stitched as well, my stitches never seem quite even.

oh sweetcarer that's coming on nicely. Looks complicated and heavy going. Is it or are you really enjoying stitching it ? sorry to be so nosey .

    Me home.

I am finding heavy going but the end result will be amazing. Finding progress in it slow compared to the floral alphabet. Alot of confetti stitching.

In July (approx) I hope to do work on a stitch for my parents 40th anniversery (September) and my parents in law 50th (October). I have got the designs sorted - just to buy the materials and threads. Money is so short these days I will get them with next months pay cheque. Still to find the money to get the floral alphabet framed.

Really should do housework, but rented out box set of Desprate Housewives series 5, so can half watch it and stitch and it is the holiday weekend.

    Kind wishes to all

    sweetcarer ;)

Quick question, does anyone know of a Peri-Lusta & Goodwear thread conversion chart? I found them in my Nana's belongings after she died(over 15 years ago), they are apparently vintage threads.

MrsM, it was me, i've pm'd you ;) Vanity (purple one) was my second fave :)

Do they have anything like a special place they go or a hobbie etc? just thinking you could get a NON specific chart and personalise it with the details etc...

thanks for those, MIL especially is a complete pain to ever buy/do anything for as she doen't like a lot of things, she isn't even too keen on flowers
the only hobby they really have is that they love going to the caravan. They live in the midlands but have a caravan in West Norfolk and when the caravan season opens on the first of April they are here til it closes at the end of September with a few trips home inbetween (about 2/3 days every 6/7 weeks) visiting them at the caravan is what made us move over here :)
but im betting I can't find anything to suit that and be romantic!

Thanks for looking guys, i did google myself and nothing came up. Theres only about 10 colours so i'll colour match them as best i can with a DMC colour chart, same as i'll be doing with the leftover lion threads, the chinese kit doesn't give colour codes :( My monitor is excellent and OH has 20/20 vision so that should help :rotfl:
