Don't suppose anyone has ever made a cross stitch chart for Sunderland footy club or know someone who has? Been working on a 1970's Black cats badge for weeks and I need the cross stitch done in 2 weeks... but I can't get it exactly right

....I want it to be too perfect I think lol

I looked on the net and can't find a chart anywhere lol

I have no idea how to correct it. My brother is a sunderland fan and years ago I stitched the red and white striped kit player from there sunderland football club cross stitch

    Happy Easter everyone!

Well I'm lay in bed feeling sorry for myself, I feel so sick can only look at the screen a few mins at a time, the thought of my Easter egg makes me want to.....well you know! Lol

Hope you feel better soon Emzy. I hate feeling sick, the last anti depressants I was on made me constantly sick and it was terrible. I always feel tearful when I fee sick, its horrible.

Im quite depressed cos I got no easter eggs. My mum gave mine to the little girl next door! Dont mind too much as I love Stella but it doesnt feel like easter.

The dmc colour chart I posted about has been bagged by sweet carer.

I still havent got around to starting my treble clef but making good headway with the angel for my mum. Was up until 5am again as its the only way it will ever be finished in time. Anyway I have finised the first section:

Im not too sure on a few of the colours but will reserve judgement for a while.

Afternoon all and happy easter ! I hope you are all having a relaxing day.

I have been away as had a family wedding to go to. This meant that my cross stitch has taken a back seat this weekend :( but I have what is left of today and all of tomorrow :j . I finished my bookworm bookmark while I had some chill time in the hotel room. My easter egg (aka bothy threads, a row of sugar plum mice kit :j) didn't arrive before easter so hopefully it will come Tuesday.

Im not sure what to start next. I have too many UFOs to choose from !! but I think a small kit will be on the agenda as Im still keen to practice being as neat as I can before I start on a larger kit.

Oh Bubbles, i wish id have known id have posted you one :) might have gotten there a little broken though :(

My anti depressants lately have been fine but a few years ago I had some that made me sick every day...certainly didn't help to lift my mood!!

Emzy what makes me laugh about anti depressants is if you look at the side effects they can all cause/worsen depression and may induce thoughts of suicide! I felt better before I took them but they insist I need to take them.

I didnt buy any easter eggs either so cant complain about getting none. All my purse has is cobwebs!

Btw I was talking to a neighbour earlier about stitching and she was telling me she started a cross stitch a few years ago and then they got the house completely renovated, it was stripped to a shell and they moved out for about 4 months and she can find the stitching and threads but cant find the pattern. It was from Issue 125 of World of Cross Stitching, I said I would consult my stitching friends to see if anyone has it and could copy it. Any chance one of you has it? It i pictured below:

Update time, i managed to get a bit more done, but have decided to challenge myself :rotfl: I aim to complete my Lions by the end of the month, with a mini challenge of completing the section under the mountains by next week. I work better under pressure so does anyone want to join me in a wee challenge ;)

Bubbles, great start on the angel, colours always look weird until it starts filling out, i have purple in my lions and mrsm's forest light looked sunburnt at first :rotfl:

Littlestar, those bears are soo cute, not much more to do.

    Mummipig, lovely dragon :)

Ruth, congrats on finishing the tulips they look lovely, bloomed in time for spring :)

Louise, thats coming together quickly, really great colours.

nmm it is really coming along nicely.

I will join your challange, I want to have all of the dress finished within a fortnight and the wings by the end of the month. Bit ambitious but like you I thrive under challenge.

Thank you. Just for today, I've picked up a little chart I'm part way through called 'New shoes cure the blues!' It was all ready in a zip lock bag & quick to pick up and get on with, so thought I'd do that today. I plan to look in my UFO box tomorrow and find something else to get my teeth into.

Go for it! It's coming along really well & I'm sure you'll reach your target.

To everyone who didn't get an egg today (me included!), here's a little virtual egg (well, choccie bunny!)...calorie free! :EasterBun
Enjoy with a cup of tea/coffee :coffee:
Be careful not to get any chocolate on your stitching, girls! xxx

    .

I recognise it, I'm pretty sure I have it, it's a matter of where. I will have a look once the kids are in bed and let you know if I've found it. :)
