    Morning everyone.

I'll join the challenge too if I may please.

I need to finish the first Baby Vest and have started the 2nd one (as long as new baby is here by then) by the end of April. That could be a little bit ambitious by I'm going to give it a shot. Just need DD to get rid of this nasty cough and cold so that she doesn't need quite so many cuddles (not that I'm complaining - I'm loving it). Might actually be quite a nice idea to do some housework at some point too.

Anyway, vest by end of month as a minimum. Humphrey and new vest started (dependent on arrival date) as an optimistic bonus.

MrsmCawmber the orange lady is really coming on, I bet when you close your eyes all you see is different shades of orange!

SammyK If you cant find a chart you like a people on here are willing to share, if you find one you want it is worthwhile asking if anyone has it and can copy it for you. I was really lucky recently that someone had one I like.

Here is my update from yesterday, got a bit sneakily done while my mum was doing easter dinner and was up again until 5, I have never had to change my body clock for a project before!

Great I'm in for the laugh! I'm the slowest stitcher in the world though as I use stabbing stitch and I railroad the top arm but I'll try my best. Just thinking I feel that my flying may just go out the window and I'll have a house like steptoes backyard so don't tell the flyladies!

Started my hedgehog yesterday and managed some of the wellies and a bit of his tummy but I'll try to get a bit done later and post a picture.

Mrs Macawber I'm loving your stitching the colours are beautiful.:T

Bubbles and MrsM - great work!

After agonising I'm scrapping the idea of the Sunderland thing.. too ambitious for me to get done in 10 days lol... so going with Archie in a hammock and personalisation saying something like you're 90 Relax, you deserve it.. or something

Having proper rest today- no emailing of millions of charts and hopefully can make a start tomorrow with probably the wrong colour thread but there you go... gots ta work with what you have, innit?

Have a lovely Monday everyone and *hugs* to those who need them

wow MrsM you have managed to do loads!
I'm struggling with my HAED at the moment, still not done my first 20 by 20 square, mind you I've only picked it up twice, I just wish the were mire than 2 flipping stitches of any one colour! But the next bit after this looks like it will be s bit easier so I guess I should just try and get this bit over and done with asap, joining in with the challenge will probably help but not sure what to set as my challenge yet so I'll have a look and try and work a goal out :)

Which HAE are you doing emzy? -sorry I have got in a fuddle over who is doing what now :o -were you doing "dragon rider" ?
I have the same thing on the one Im doing at the moment... 1 in this colour, 2 in this .....but we will get there :D
I Love orange, reds, purples- so at least Im working on "pretty colours" ... but Im sure I will be glad of a change by the time I have done...
when the 4 HAE charts arrive I will have to decide which to do next -but I think this one is wining so far:-
    http://www.sewalong.co.uk/ProductFull.asp?sel1=(HAE)QS18
Im hoping to hear soon if express frames have accepted my order -they don't do BFPO unless you are willing to risk them going missing etc as they can't track through the BFPO sorting office... so Im hoping they arrive as then I will have to frame 3 pics :j....which means I will have to squeeze in sewing the beads onto my celtic summer 1 day soon -hmmmmm better get on if I want to achieve my target for the challenge :rotfl:
Bubbles -that is some dedication -sitting up until 5am :T..its coming along great too :j
right -must get back.... sewing needs to be done :p

Snap ! I'm doing the same with DD and she thought she would be nice and share with me! so I'm not feeling great I just want to curl up but too much to do. I couldn't go a run up to Edinburgh to see DS1 today either so DS2 and OH have gone and took him supplies (mostly fruit as he has been living on cheeseburgers I think). Missing him though and wanted a cuddle.

ETA MrsMacawber I love that design it's beautiful. You sure love a challenge !

MRSM - Coming along well, I love those colours, beautiful.

Bubbles - You're getting loads done!! I was up till 4am this morning, I realised a little too late that I had miscounted a row of squares (9 instead of 10) so everythign was out of line...cue a lot of 'reverse stitching'! (D'oh!)
Look forward to seeing the list of challenges :)

ooohhh *Louise* was there lots of swearing to go with it? :rotfl:..

well Im all :j as I have just checked my on-line banking and it shows last nights balance and a pending "today balance" (no transaction details showing though ) ...so using my best Hecule Poirot head I have worked out that my 4 heaven and earth charts and the 2 frames I was on about earlier comes to the exact amount difference between the 2 balances :T
    heck Im easily pleased :p
