Thanks everyone for your lovely comments..
Well I sorted the material and threads for my new project and I've stitched about 50 x's as I couldn't resist starting her
I'm not going to update with a pic today but will try to remember to post a pic every week, may help my motivation.
Spottybutterfly, I think your pics are great, you've done so well to copy the pic into a cross stitch, well done.
Happy stitching everyone !0 -
Awesome2; I really love the caravan x stitch you are doing. Would like to do it myself but cant justify the spends! Are you caravaners? It would look really sweet in a caravan. I hope you post a photo when you've finished it.
Thanks Pennb we are not caravaners but my friends have a statice they have just bought so like you I thought it will make a lovely pressie also as I havent stitched for about two years it brings it back up to scratch hopefully lol :rotfl:0 -

HELP NEEDED!!!! In all the years I have been stitching I have never used a floor frame although I own one. I thought with the HAED I am about to start I would give it a try. I have assembled the frame this morning but have no idea how to go about stitching the evenweave onto it. I know I stitch it to the binding pieces that are on the rollers but which way? Any advice greatly appreciated.x£2 savers club. No.90. Aim £500.0

Here's my first pic as promised of Rose flower fairy.....
I started on 8th Feb and I am really pleased with how much I have done. I have nearly finished the large rose then will do the backstitch on it, hate leaving backstitch till the end because there's so much to do. This is what it should look like when finished http://www.thehappycross-stitcher.com/product.php?xProd=8565&jssCart=e9b5f789f3e951eebc640a05770573a1:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. Why not try it the way I do it - "in the well" keeps the work clean. Don't attach it with pins tho - it can create rust marks in time - I found that one out - use masking tape or sew it on.
Attached picture of my work in a roller frame for you to see
Hope it helps give you some idea.
Kind wishes
