23rdspiral, don't be embarrassed thats a lovely card, my mum's is some flowers in a basket, will post it when done :) For mounting them, if you have any regular A4 Card just cut out a hole then use some to cover the back, thats what i'm doing with some card blanks i bought. Been searching for some aperture cards and found loads cheap on ebay about £2 for 8/10 delivered, but going to use what i got for now.

Sweetcarer, the alphabet is lovely, love the butterfly :)

Thanks nmm, i'm really pleased with how it turned out..now I just have to find the right frame to match

23rdspiral if you have a plain blank card why not just fray the edges slightly by pulling away a few strands of the aida and glue your cross stitch to the front of the card..I've seen it done in the cross stitch magazines and they look really nice

but perhaps someone can advise on the best way to mount it for a card without buying a card with a hole in it?

You could stick it to the front of a plain card and take a few layers of aida away from the edges to create a frill?

Awesome2; I really love the caravan x stitch you are doing. Would like to do it myself but cant justify the spends! Are you caravaners? It would look really sweet in a caravan. I hope you post a photo when you've finished it.

Sweetcarer; that is a lovely project. Are you going to frame it or do something else?
