Copdock Extra, Ipswich have a bulk buy policy of ...ONE.
How does that work then with r&r's? Because I got a load of meat and clothing r&r'd last week from there and nothing was said about bulk buying policy.

I'm not a Tesco employee, so can't answer that.
But I have seen the sign up at CS in the Copdock store which states their Bulk Purchase policy is one item.
How you came away with a load of meat and clothing R&R'd I don't know...
(No offence, but are you on sleeping terms with a member of staff?)0 -

After a disappointing weekend went yesterday hoping that there might be some misprices. Not one. Checked the Fuji A400 camera and it was correctly priced. Checked the whole meat section and found only one misprice (on some pork item) but these had been corrected with new labels on them over the old barcode. God !!
Atleast they are doing there job properly. Last few weeks I have seen quite a lot more tesco employees in aisles than a month back. One of them was even checking items with a hand held code checker (or something).
I think I found out this site too late - Oh well !
You have to be carefull at Brent Park because on the sign behind the CS desk they have stuck a note which says the R&R policy does not apply to goods on offer!!!0 -
with this bulk buy policy... it sounds exactly like the voucher policy... they havent a clue....i know this is slightly off thread, buy with the vouchers you can go in and sa will take all of them, go in an hour later and another sa will refuse them... go in again and they will tell you only 10 %... so basically each member of staff... is making their own interpritation of a very vague policy....
so i think the best thing to do is either email tescos and ask them to clarify what they class as bulk buying... or stand your ground, and then maybe mutter the words trading standards... and a very hefty fine for the store....
under yuor breath but loud enough for them to hear it...
but then it all depends what the r & r is, and if it is worth standing yuor ground....:rolleyes:Work to live= not live to work0 -

Hey I'm still here....nice to see you spa2k
Cotsvale - Not "all the various ways" Dude - just some pointers!
But thanks - don't forget the big A1 signs that some other Dude mentioned.

Suits you Sir, nudge nudge, say no more etc.
Anyhow - yes - bulk policy - different stores implement different policies - I don't think this is aimed at R&Rers - rather to ensure that shoppers each 'get some' with a special offer.
Tesco are not unique with this - remember Safeways? - these stores would often limit bulk purchases against special offers.
I still remember my sister-in-law buying a pallet of silly-priced sugar (she was running a little grocery/flower shop herself) and pretending to be one wave short of a shipwreck as she dribbled repeatedly at the Safeway till person: 'They're for me Mam we got to make the jam before he comes back - they're for me Mam etc etc'
But of course Tesco CS will use any bulk buying policy to avoid R&R.
If you are still reading this far - when I visit a new Tesco I tend to have a quick peek at the CS desk - primarily to make sure the Our Promise sign is visible - but also to scope other bits 'n' bobs - such as bulk policy.
Each to their own - but I would caution you Dudes not to be too greedy - especially with the more expensive R&Rs.

Only 5 steaks and 3 t'shirts actually. Must be price related or something ie. more than 1 £999 TV.
No sure if it pertains to R&R though? Just says bulk purchases not R&R's.
