Hey Kenau Dude - any idea when this promotion finishes?
Duder0 -
I'm a bit annoyed today, although totally my own fault.
I purchased 4 packs of sello-tape which had been reduced to 22p, but found they all scanned through at the old price!! So I went to customer services and the lady then proceeded to take 15 minute to locate the sticker!! She then came back, typed in a whole load of things, and refunded me £1.05, I was in a rush, so just took it and left! Now checking things out, she only gave me the difference for 3 of the sello-tapes not 4!! So not only did I not get an R&R (my fault as stated) but I didn't even get the proper 'difference' back either!!"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0 -
This is not specifically a Tesco question, but I was hoping one of you knowledgeable types may be able to help me with this.
I was in my local co-op store this morning, and bought some burgers which had been reduced for quick sale (dated sell by 28 Jun ie tomorrow), and were stickered BOGOF. When I got home I realised that they had not honoured the BOGOF, and I was charged the individual reduced price for each pack. Trip back this afternoon, the manager first tried to tell me the BOGOF offer had expired - to which I replied that the BOGOF stickers were on the packs. He then told me that they did not have to honour the BOGOF on reduced items. I stood my ground and mentioned trading standards and eventually did get the refund, but I still can't believe that legally they don't have to honour BOGOF if items are reduced - can anyone shed any light on this? I know that in the same circumstances Tesco do honour the BOGOF on reduced items, albeit at the reduced price!0 -
Coupon-mad wrote::rolleyes: Sorry to mention this confusing issue again! bb999 I am not that dumb.......! The £8.89 price is wrong, it relates to a different product.
So can any friendly Tesco employee (Constantine?) help me understand why I was able to go to a smaller Tesco store today and buy the infamous 4-in-1 dishwasher tablets for the 'proper' price of £4.89? Cos I just did, even though nearby larger stores have them (exactly same barcode) scanning wrongly at the (5-in-1) price of £8.89.
Don't geddit, I thought prices would scan the same in all Tesco stores (thought it was just the SELs or product labels that sometimes differ)?
I will phone Mr T and his merry men at HO in the morning and see if I can confuse them too..........................:rotfl:
From the looks of it, there has been a product change on the dishwasher tablets. I think that they have gone from 4 in 1 to 5 in 1 with a couple of price changes thrown in for good measure.
I personally changed a label on the 4 in 1's which were reduced to clear and put out a label on the 5 in 1's which changed from £8.89 to £4.89. These changes were actioned on Monday. Hope this helps.Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
I don't exist, it is merely your imagination.

I would say they would be hard pressed to get away with that, especially as the item was stickered.Tesco do honour the BOGOF on reduced items, albeit at the reduced price!Tesco in Charge The Right Price Shock! :rotfl:
