Hi all,

I just love a little help ftom Mr.T. Bring on the fish pie.Any opinions voiced are entirely my own and in no way represent those of anyone but me.
Check your Council Tax Band on the VOA Website as you could save 1000's - http://www.voa.gov.uk/council_tax/cti_home.htm0 -

I love his little help too. We mustnt boast too much about the thousands weve had cos it upsets the Tesco employees who frequent this site. Loads people on here are raking in hundreds a week.
Anyone like to put a figure on what Tescos RR bill is a week?0 -
Not quite a misprice but a mis-offer?
I was in Tesco today and out the corner of my eye, I noticed in the TV DVD section, they had "24" Season 4 priced at £20.97. I know this is around the price everyone is selling them at just now, so fair enough.
However it had a yellow shelf sticker that had above the price "2 for £10". The sticker was definitely for "24" and the DVD scanned at £20.97.
I didn't bother asking about it, but I'm v. curious what this is supposed to be...
How big a bonus would it be if you bought £40+ worth of DVD and you get it for a tenner??? Mind you why would you buy two copies of the same DVD...
(Mind you that didn't stop me buying three copies of Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers Collectors Boxset at £9.97 hoping to make a quick buck on ebay - they're still sitting in my back room...)Everybody dies, but not everyone truly lives0 -

I find it quite bizarre that this still has the wrong price - i first had this about 3 weeks ago so how many people have bought it at the higher price over that period of time ? Spotted it again yesterday but left it as we're a bit fished out . My mother was with me and even she didn't want it ! Thanks anyway Mr T it was kind of you to offer .0 -

Currently there is a promotion on "Buy 2 chart DVDs save £10"
This promotion has not been very well adverised (i.e. not at all), not sure why but it hasn't, something must have gone a miss somewhere.
Then to top it all off, all chart DVDs get new yellow labels for the offer, but instead of saying "Buy 2 save £10" they actually say "2 for £10". Another stroke of pure head office genius!
Basically it was an error on the SELs. That particular store must be very slack, as nearly all stores noticed the error using common sense, and if that failed an e-mail was sent out by Head Office as well...0 -

None of the centre supplied material - posters, car park banners - turned up :wall:Who or what was I before you came in to my life
I am not sure0 -
Sorry, not a mis-price but along the same vien......
I'm quite unsure how and when they do their 'code drops'. One presumes it would be at midnight, then they would do a hot fix install with all the new price updates. Tesco use a supply chain logistics system called 'G-LOG' global logistics system. I worked on the upgrade from SAP to GLOG a couple of years ago for another company and they scrupiously did the database installs at 00:00 on the dot everyday. G-Log then got bought out by Oracle and is now called Oracle Transport Management Systems.
Perhaps this is the way it does happens, its just that individual stores are slow on the uptake hence SEL's out of date. However, when I read about individual stores having mis-matched SEL's, thats when I get confused.
Gonna have a few words with the techies on the system I did work on and find out the score!!0 -

Told by CS that it's usually midnight on a Tuesday.0 -
Hey Dudes! I’ve been away with work and then some Dude flu – but I’m back baby.
Remember my PSP problems (staff swapping SELs etc etc) – well after 3 weeks the store manager offered to sell it to me for the original SEL price as a goodwill gesture.
He also said that I was a regular R&Rer and could be banned from the store if I persisted with such dastardly activities.
I am very tempted to do something naughty to revenge these lying toads – what do you good Dudes think to this:
Step 1: I’ll have a chat with a reporter from my local rag – explain the R&R thing – heavy emphasis on Tesco consistently overcharging customers and then getting snooty when pulled up.
Step 2: Meet said newshound in the branch that has given me so much grief – take him/her around the store and buy ONLY mis-priced gear – loads of it.
Step 3. Let the roving reporter pay and take the whole lot to CS and then….play it all by ear.
My guess will be that the CS people will throw a fit.
Then the reporter goes: “Oh and by the way I’m reporting for the **** - can you tell me why all these goods were wrongly priced and why Tesco staff are failing to implement the Price Promise – a clever Tesco policy designed to avoid the wrath of Trading Standards etc etc”.
Sounds fun – or have I had too much cough syrup?
Duder0
