That's it Poppy P! I assume you are female, like me, as you understood where I was coming from!!! I think I will just make £4 on the item. :D

Sorry to confuse you guys, I'll find something more simple to post about next time...

    So you get £8.89 refunded.

You then run out af dishwasher tablets and have to buy some more.....

    ..........for £8.89

Funniest thing is, I always pick up receipts outside in the car park to get extra points if someone has not used a Clubcard, and guess what, I found one this week that has 'Finish Tablets' £8.89. Well, at the very least I may go in and get a refund of £8.89 (and give back my unused pack as I will still make £4) but am I right about the original price being £4.89 and do you think there is a chance of R&R at all?

    Cheers everyone, keep posting! :D

    Hi Coupon-mad,

Can I just ask - will Tesco add on points for you, if you have a receipt where the person didn't use a Clubcard then?

yep they will, cos there's no way of telling that it wasn't you that purchased the stuff in tesco, so you can use a receipt if you found one that states 'you could have earned xx points with your clubcard today'
You only have 7 days to use the receipt tho :D

Im pretty sure you you have a month to "redeem" receipts.I have often redeemed receipts over 14 days old with no probs whatsoever from the CS.

The '7 days' must be just with my local tesco, or knowing my luck, just with me cos the CS staff get miffed with ME when i'm overcharged and want to claim R&R. She probably told me it was 7days cos she didn't like the look of me!!

Just to say, I went back to the Axminster store today in my car and evidently nobody had cashed in on the real ale R&R opportunity, as the out of date SEL was still there. I got 12 bottles of Hobgoblin and 6 bottles of Bishop's Finger and a full refund of £27.72. The lady on customer services was really nice about it, pointing out that since it was their mistake, I would get to keep the beer and get my money back. She said 'you can sit back and really enjoy the football now'. They had however used a marker pen to cross out the Maltesers from the 2 for £2.00 offer, but I guess you could say that this will prevent innocent shoppers from getting overcharged.

Is anybody else getting sick of being followed in Tosco?

After the incident with the Store Defective being a bit too obvious, they've reverted to technology and now follow me with the cameras.

I swear, I'm gonna cause their little motors to burn out the way they track me around the store.

However, it certainly helps me find the blind spots.

Am thinking of getting some t-shirts printed saying things like, "watch the cameras, the REALLY like me" with "ask me why" printed on the back.

It's VERY offputting and I really can't be arsed looking in the store any more - better to travel an equaly distance in oppostite direction and use a different branch.

What's really galling though is that they are using me to be able to find mis-priced products that should never be mis-priced in the first place.

Why not confuse those smelly over aftershaved bouncers and take in some joke faces with you. Change them now and again and they will lose you.
