Have just posted this in the Misprice thread, but also wanted to add it here, to follow on from my post yesterday.
Having explained some experiences I have had with cs over genuine R&R, and why I am now careful to go with the cs to the SEL, or actually buy something with a price sticker which cannot be disputed, just got an R&R out of the blue when least expecting it!!
Went in to do a small shop, but checked for the mis-prices opportunities such as ecover etc. No luck in my store. Has been no TMF boxes at all, so unless they have been cleared out by other MSErs or deliberately cleared/moved by staff they must just not have had that stock in ( yet I hope !)
Anyway, decided to check out the clothing sale, and picked up a top from the Sale rail, with price crossed out in red, and hand written price alongside. Was actually hoping it would scan lower.....but scanned at full price.:T :T
cs immediately started giving me my refund without a word of excuse, and I even got a smile. :o

Thinking back I have been 'overcharged' numerous times with clothing sales, but whenever I went to cs, I was told the price I had been charged was correct and that some sa had been abit too enthusuatic with the pen and had marked down stock which wasn't in the sale, or reduced sale stock lower than they should have.
Must add this was in the days BEFORE my re-education by this site. I never received a R&R, nor even a refund of the difference between what I had been charged and the 'reduced' price.

Must admit it has made my night.

I'm off to Pontins Hemsby tomorrow, got bags full of goodies 'reduced' cos of sell by date, and now a free top. It is also forecast good weather for the weekend.

I have had a few R&R where I have deliberately gone looking for things posted here, but tonight was a thrill as well. 6 months ago I would have pointed out the 'mistake' ( if I'd spotted it) at the till as it scanned thru - and therefore missed out on an R&R. I used to think I was a good shopper, carful with money, and always out for a bargin. Just shows its never too late to learn.;)

Anyone know if there is a Tesco near Great Yarmouth ? Quite fancy a go on fresh turf. Luckily the cs was a new face tonight. But I don't like to push my luck.

Looks like plenty in the area, TOB! Nice thing about this sort of thing is you can go a bit mad as it's not as if you'll be back in there for a while, is it? We are having a few days in the in-law's caravan and already got my eye on 5 stores within easy driving distance. They won't won't know what's hit them! :D

Can anyone please explain the tesco policy on fuel?
selling U/L at 95.9, Shell 2 mils away 93.9. Pointed this out, said 'yes we know, but not changed ours yet'.
I thought was a policy of refund the difference and double points or something and I want to challenge them.

apparently their policy is under review so no double the difference back for the time being, what a fob off, and this was coming from ho, because our tescos know nothing about the policy!!!!

According to spa2k on here (who works for Tesco) the 5p per litre discount if you spend £50 or more in store offer also ends on Sunday, so I reckon Tesco's petrol supplier may be seeing lower orders from them shortly...

    Hiya,

Just wondering what was your most profitable R&R, either as single item or trolley full.

It would be nice to see a total of your R&Rs so far, if you keep records.

    Just interested thats all.

    Regards

Can anyone tell me the precise name of the act that is being broken by charging at a higher price than advertised (preferabbly with a link - not to worry if not I'll Google it).
I am in a dsipute at moment with another company and remember seeing someone on this thread once mention the name of the act but cant find it on trawling back through the thread.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

Fairly sure the individual transaction record was for a pair of Dyson vaccuum cleaners at Slough, total £500 R+R..

Can anyone beat that in one transaction?
