flaming cheek! Got accused of abusing the system today when I bought 4 packs of Minute Steak today. Kept my piece when he then pointed at the sign and said he would R&R me. Best to buy other stuff as he picked up on that, too! Makes me more determined than ever to look for more....

I always buy other stuff, stuff I need like breadmaking flour, milk etc. You don't need to buy a lot to make it look 'good' if you know what I mean. I just think that having ONLY overcharged items in your trolley when you trundle up to CS does look a bit 'suss'. It's pretty important IMHO for you to get the CS person to believe this all happened out of the blue. Makes the process go through far quicker and with a much more pleasant atmosphere. :D

  • Full R&R on Egypt book.

SEL £12.97, sticker on book £9.97. Went through at £12.97, Full R&R no problem also got the HL Lemon Sole. Tastes lovely!

I don't know what itis at the moment the the fish deps are a bit slack, seen loads of possible R&R's all over. It's good for the up and coming paella and the fish BBQ for when the footy is on at the weekend.

Keep it going Mr.T. I'm feeling a bit fishy today.

Refund and Retain - if Tesco overcharge you on any product, their policy is to issue a FULL refund of the price you paid - and you get to keep the product.

  • Well this week was much the same as most of my weeks since I started to practise this religion (not sayin how much but a good xmas bonus :xmassign: ) but alas even I have had enough now :wall: - and whilst Tesco staff and others may say & treat me as if this was out of greed  - I can certainly say it was simply about anger  - anger at the poor service from Customer Service, anger at the lousy assistance and lack of real action from head office staff to insist upon putting things right after various complaints  and anger at having those miserable duty mangers at tesco purposely do nowt even when time and time again be proven to fail to fix pricing errors ...on purpose! :T (Gallions Reach store, Beckton - you are tops in this one!) and anger once pointed out at the free buy one grief get deception free provided by staff and managers alike :silenced: - even to sneakily slither out of the reach of trading standards.:naughty:

Nonetheless, at least have a superb run at this race and manage to hopefully make some kind of dent on Tescos as 'every little helps' ;) except that perhaps mine wasn't quite so little :shhh: but nevermind as my time is precious no matter what CS staff and managers at Tesco think and I am increasingly lacking time to go collectin' so have decided to retire  and leave this to fellow MSE'ers (will still be around MSE:money: ).:grouphug:

Good Luck everyone and most importantly, remember don't get mad  - get even:p ....plus some 'tesco extra' for good measure!:EasterBun

Having seen what Tescos is really about. now I think I'll go back to being occasionally paid to shop at my preferred supermarket - Sainsburys! If only I can recall how many items do I buy to make sure my shopping doesn't come to a credit and alert the checkout supervisor?

Picked up BBC book today EGYPT by Joyce Tyldesley. Sticker 9.97 and scanned at 12.97 with full R&R no probs. Hardback dark coloured cover. DIY book recalled at self scanner so seems they are on to those..

DIY book still available in lots of areas. Got one in Rochdale yesterday, and Doncaster today.

I've given so many of these away I've nobody left to give them to. Will probably take them down to the charity shop.
