Hi everyone,
I too am a victim of these faceless cowards and am trying to cancel my 'accounts' with them in order to comply with my banks instructions. I think I've managed to cancel the Cleanwhites one but have had no luck with Everbrite. The email address - care@everbrightsmiles.com no longer exists and the telephone number 001 ∙ (888) 694 9257 is no longer in service.
I've sent an email to support2@globalcustomersupport.net and this has gone through but I understand that this is for Cleanwhites?? To be honest, I am so physically and mentally exhausted by all of this that I just feel like I'm going round and round in circles, I'm worried sick that my telephone bill is going to be astronomical as I've tried so many different phone numbers in the USA and I feel like I'm not getting anywhere!
Does anyone have any 'up to date' contact details for the everbrite scammers or any success stories in cancelling and kicking these vile people into touch??:(:(:(:(:(

All you need to do for your bank to chargeback or stop transactions is supply them with a copy of the e-mail you sent cancelling your order it does not matter that they have not replied or confirmed receipt. My understanding is everbright have ceased trading so you should not hopefully see any further transactions from them fingers crossed. I did write to Everbright Smiles HS-UK Ltd 43 Iveston Road County Durham Consett DH8 7HR gave a copy to the bank with my e-mail they charged the amounts back, money back in my account today. Please don't give up supply the bank with this info and let them do what they are paid for.0 -
Hi Craven,
Thank you so much for your prompt reply, I'll definately follow your advice and hopefully get the same outcome as you!
I cannot believe that, according to my bank, this scam has been going on for over a year and yet I've never seen any warnings about it either on the internet, TV, newspapers, etc.. I know we're all supposed to be responsible for our dealings on the internet but it wouldn't have hurt the banks/credit card companies to put out some sort of alert if they've known about it for so long!
I shall definately be a lot more vigilant now!
Once again, many thanks for your help!

To get rid of cleanwhites e-mail support2@globalcustomersupport.net they are responding. See other info I have given on page 3 and 4 this thread got my money back. Good luck0 -
that's great news craven, my bank also said that they'd issue a chargeback if I provided them with a copy of the letter and email. I just dont know if i've emailed/written to the right addresses? i've written to the houston, texas address, the care@everbritesmiles.com address and the support2@globalcustomersupport.net address. No reply from any! I'm gonna send a letter to the County Durham address now you've mentioned it. So far I've only been charged for postage but then again I did only order them on 22nd. Dreading anything else coming out of my account! Do we need to keep an eye on our accounts forever though?
Also, the credit card company advised me that cancelling my card would not stop payments going out, as it is a continuity subscription the monies would just come from another account instead. The only option I was given was to keep my eye on my account for money coming out after the cancellation date and to contact the bank should this happen. I just don't know how long we're meant to do this for. Also worried that this dodgy company has my credit card details/my address!0 -

Dear Customer,
Thank you very much for contacting our customer support with your inquiry.
You would like to confirm you that we have shipped your order on 2010-01-21.
Once your package has been shipped, it should arrive within 3-5 working days (note that weekends and public holidays are not considered working days). However, in exceptional cases it may take one or two weeks from the date the purchase was made. Specifically, customers in Australia and Canada may experience delays due to strict customs regulations.
In case you were not at home when the product was delivered and/or the slot in the letterbox was too small to get the package inside, the package will normally be returned to the nearest post office. The postman should have left a note in the letterbox stating that the package is at the post office.
As stated in the Terms and Conditions, which you accepted during the sign up process, the free trial of your product begins on the day that you place the order from the Website and it is calculated in calendar days and not business days. At the end of the trial you will be charged the full amount of the sample. Because we did not hear from you within this time frame we assumed you received the product and that you benefit from it. She placed her order on the 8/1/10 do the maths this does not add up the earlist she could have received the product was in 19 days! breach on contract I think!
We apologize for the inconveniences that this may cause you.
Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
Customer Support

I'm afraid to say I also fell for this scam - ordered the two samples kits, which never arrived, contacted both companies by phone and cancelled the subscriptions, which were confirmed by emails from each company. The two initial payments of £3.95 and 99p have not been taken from my CC, but over a month later, my CC statement indicated a payment of £152.43 to a company called Sella Pass LLC in the States. Googled this company and they are related to a tooth whitening product !! Have contacted my CC company and they have 'raised a dispute'. Got to fill in and return a form for further enq's. So angry I got caught !!0
