I ordered EverBrite Smile trial pack on the 14th Feb after reading a very compelling add without really thinking that it could be a scam. I rang their Customer Service twice today, 19th Feb on 001 877 683 3080 and managed to get through second time around. I told the lady that I WANT TO CANCEL MY TRIAL ORDER (you have to provide your order number) . She asked if I have already received the product which I have not. Then I asked her if they have already posted it, she said no and it is still with the distribution team. Their website states "Generally, Your Product is shipped 3 to 5 days after placing your order". The lady then offered to extend my Trial Period for another 10 days, so 20 days in total. Being mindful of slow postage and to be on the safe side, I didn't take the offer and told her to cancel the order. I've asked for a cancellation ref num but she said I will recieve a confirmation email instead, within the next 24 hours.
Will keep you posted.......0 -

Hi P Mac have you tried to contact Smilekit in sinagpore if so what did they have to say been trying myself unable to get an answer. Are you sure it is Clean Whites making this charge! I have not received any trail package cancelled within 3 days in January charged 98p then £78.50 on the 8th February, bank say they will charge back if I can supply a copy of my cancellation letter.
Also I urge people to put cancellation in writing Distance Selling Regulations require this. A letter, email of fax and keep a copy.
Good luck will keep up upto date with any progress I Make
Just get through to smilekit singapore 3.15pm gmt. Peter said that the account was never cancelled I told him I have an e-mail dated the 11th Jan saying it was. He is refering this to the finance dept should hear witihn 2-4 days. Not holding my breath Have still asked the bank to do a chargeback. He also confirmed that everbrightsmiles have ceased trading! I asked are you the same company to which he replied have a nice day goodbye0 -

Hiya, I'm in exactly the same boat as you, I realised it was a scam 30 mins after I ordered but I cannot get through on the phone to them! I tried at 3pm GMT, 6pm GMT and 10pm GMT and was on hold for like 10 mins each time. What time did you ring? I really don't know what to do.
I've emailed care@everbritesmiles.com to cancel but no reply as of yet and I'm sending a letter recorded delivery to their houston texas address today. Is this enough? Does this cover me if any more money comes out of my account, ie will the bank do a chargeback if they see I've written to cancel, even if I haven't received a reply from the company?
Any help much appreciated, I'm panicking, have a horrible sick feeling in the pit of my stomach...:(0 -
I have also been scammed by these companies. i thought it was just a one off payment of $3.87 for myeverbritesmile. When i checked my bank statement today they have taken out a futher $87.47! I rang my bank & stopped my card. They said i could keep the trail pack & they would refund me $20, or to send it back & i would get my money back.
I suppose i haven't got anything to loose by sending it back but wondered if i will actually be refunded?!
i have also had a payment of IBUILDWEATH of $40, does anyone know if this is Teethwhitemax?
How did you get through to myeverbritesmile? I cant get through on the phone. cheers0 -

If you ask the card issuer to chargeback the money all they need is a copy on the cancellation letter or e-mail if this was sent earlier with the date and they will chargeback anything that appears after that date. Cancel your card and request a new one with different number. The banks are fully aware of this scam. Don't let the bank fob you off they can do it I used to work in one.0 -
Hi all my bank have just confirmed that they have successfully chargedback the £78.50 & 98p. Hope nothing else crops up on future statements :j:j:j0
