Apparently they still have lots of gift boxes left. They are waiting for a delivery of bags to make up some grab bags, so there will be more available throughout the week. Hope you get something niceTwins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j0 -
^^^
Thats what I was told too- useless going today as same stock levels as yesterday, come monday there should be more stock, both new/fresh and ex-xmas stock to make up new grab bags.
Hold out people- it could be worth it!!0 -

No one knows the back story of people buying multiple boxes either.
Does it matter if there is a back story? Buying 6 large hatboxes as some people have reported seeing is just plain greedy (I wouldn't use half the products in there anyway as I already own several of them and they last ages so they would sit in the drawer unused before the sell by date - what is the point?) A bargain is only a bargain if you are actually going to use something.
I am a regular Lush customer AND and MSE user but there is a grabby attitude on this forum from some people (a minority I think) but also on the Lush forum from (again a minority) and it is that grabby attitude that ends up spoiling it for everyone. A few of something is fine, but I often see offers posted on here like those mispricing offers that everyone knows they will probably not get the product and where someone takes the mickey and orders 300.
I was thrilled to get my usual moisturiser that sells for £25 as a free product :-) A much better bargain than a box full of products i won't use :-)
Don't get me going about selling stuff on Ebay - It drives me mad when people sell concert tickets above face value so fans can't get them (this is a similar thing and is just greed again) but in some respects I blame the buyers as much because without the market people wouldn't be able to sell on and there would be enough stuff for everyone to get a bargain, or a seat at a concert to see their favourite band. If the numpties who bought over priced items (including concert tickets, Lush, S&G hat boxes) stopped buying then people wouldn't be buying them to sell on <sigh>

All I am saying is you don't know who they are buying them for or how many people.
Moralising over sales is silly. Where does the scale of greed begin? Camping out before the store opens?0 -

I did see one lady with five boxes which i thought was extreme, but have to admit i did pick up a christmas eve box for my mum as an additional gift as she's had a bad time this year (dad lost his job and was unemployed for a time so she was working all hours to try and keep their heads above water- did offer to help financially but they wanted to sort it themselves- which is fair enough and admirable) so thought i would show her just how appreciative we all are!
So i guess unless we know the story of why peeps are buying that much its probably best not to judge?
It has made my christmas as waiting for them to open felt like Christmas day as a child, chatting and having a giggle with the lovely people also waiting for it to open
KP xFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0 -

I went to Bolton yesterday at about 11am, they opened at 9am.
They had no hatboxes left. They said I could pick anything off the back wall, but that was just small xmas giftboxes, although they did have 2 stardust boxes left. I picked one up and went to spend my £20.
I then heard another assistant explain that they also had grab bags worth at least £20 available as a free gift so I opted for one of those instead as the i'd already bought snow fairy stuff last month.
The grab bag is good with 4 bath bombs, 2 bubble bars, a small piece of soap and one huuuuuggggggge slab of blue soap (can't remember the name and it's not labelled).
I went to bolton last year a few days after the sale started and they had far more left than yesterday. The boxes on the back wall were all made after October, but were mainly christmas boxes. They did have the vanilla box available but I didn't fancy it.
I asked if anyone got the legends box and she said one person, with a couple more getting the winter wonderland boxes.
Last year I had a bit more money available and I bought the Legends box for myself and could then choose 5 gifts for free, which I gave as presents throughout the year. This worked out well and I still haven't used everything in the legends box!!Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.
wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!0 -
Me too. And I'll say here what I said over on the Lush Forum:
The little girl in the queue beside me today had been shoved by an adult who wanted to get to a hatbox. I think that's just appalling, regardless of what forum they hang out on or what they're going to do with the products they buy.
That's terrible, just NO need for it whatsoever...The two girls infront of me in the queue were extremely rude at first, asking why i was queueing up when they were going to get all the big boxes that were left and effing and blinding...They were shooting daggers at all the staff when they arrived to work thinking they were other customers and banging on the glass half an hour before they were due to open and then demanding one of those Limited edition boxes when it was HIGHLY unlikely there would be any left...i was VERY ashamed to be associated with them....i even apologised for their behaviour to the staff and they said they were well known as been 'characters'0
