LUSH sale update

Wow that is craziness! In Oxford it was all pretty civilised, the only banging on the window happened when one poor shop assistant carrying four boxes was outside with all of us shoppers so we knocked on the door so the staff would let her in and she didnt drop anything
i cant commend the staff highly enough; they were all friendly to us, one lovely chap grabbed me a basket and was advising of what smelt the sweetest (my faves are rock star and snow fairy) and pointed out the products that i already had in the gift box so i didnt duplicate (how sweet of him!)
Everyone i spoke to in the queue was just excited that they may get their fave lush stuff as a present- i think if i had witnessed any of that rude behaviour it would have really put me off!
i was only in town as sis in law was promised a coat by parents for Christmas that she could choose so went to Debenhams for 7am to avoid the crowds; when i left town at 11am it was heaving!!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0 -
There are not usually that many hatboxes left in our store, must mean they are good at ordering the correct amout of stock for christmas0

didn't manage to get anything in lakeside-there was absolutely nobody there-just staff and a huge empty table in the middle, guessing it had all gone by the time I got there...did anyone go to the lakeside one? if so, what time?

I know some stores didn't get their deliveries the week before Christmas this year, they were stuck in the snow and ice.0 -
I went to my local store yesterday got there at 10 and there was no queue and no signs to say when they were open so i went to look in another couple of stores about 20 minutes later i went back and i was 7th or 8th in the queue so decided i would take my chances.
The assistant opened the door at just gone 10.30 and the first 6 people rushed in trying to grab the 2 black/gold hat boxes at the back of the store ignoring the assistant saying they were not included in the offer and at the same time pointing out the big red box full of xmas gift boxes.
As a result i managed to get to the big red box second and managed to grab 2 Christmas eve boxes priced £64.95 there were at least 8 in total, and then spent £43 on our favourite bubble bars, soaps and ballistics, just goes to show you need to open your ears as well as your eyes sometimes.
When i got to the counter to pay it was the lady who had opened the door and we both had a laugh about the people pushing in the wrong direction.0 -
I went to Bolton today and you'd think there hadn't been a sale, the only Xmas boxes left were the smaller ones. Came away with nothing, which is fine... the way I look at it, I've saved £20!OU Student! - ED209, SDK125, DSE212, SK124, DSE141, SD226, DXR222, DD303, DD307 = BSc Psychology0

I gave in to temptation when I heard they had merged the 2 sales this year so there will not be a Grab A Bag sale at the end of January.
Went to MK for 10.45, it opened at 11am and I spent £60 and got a Grab a bag, a Bathtime Favourites tin and a Merry Christmas giftbox. They had bigger boxes but not with the stuff I wanted in. No hatboxes left at all.
I know I could have got bigger boxes yesterday but it was a bit much for me to shop on Boxing Day. Xmas Day is on a Saturday this year. so the sale will probably start on the Monday morning. Much Better lol0 -
Hiya Lush lovin' peeps!
I went to the Victoria Station store in London this morning at 11:35 (they opened at noon). They were closed yesterday and I went last year on the 27th and got what is now called the Christmas Eve hat box so I was hoping for the same this year.
Sadly as soon as I got there and peered through the window I could see they only had Winter Wonderlands left, nothing bigger and no Legends boxes (I am more of a bubble bar/sweet things type, so as the WW is mostly shower stuff it wasn't my first choice). I was the only one there at 11:40 but by the time the shop opened there was about five or six of us. As there were about nine Winter Wonderlands that was fine. They had about ten Think Pinks and five Art of Bathings, but sadly none of them were old enough. Ditto one Vanilla box which was only a week too new. After the WW they had about three Fairy Tale boxes and other than that there was just loads of the 29.95 and smaller.
A very excited woman came rushing in at about five after twelve going "oh my god, oh great you have some left", and she was saying she was at another store and they had a policy of only one hat box per customer (or something) so she came here. I was trying to get around her to get to the Snow Fairy as she was having a teleconference with one of her friends about which other boxes to get, and I saw she had a bag with a Christmas Eve box in it already....lucky!I wonder which shop she went to first?
When I left at about 12:20 I would say the WWs were all gone but there were probably one or two Fairy Tales left. There were definitely a lot of the square shaped 29.95 xmas gifts left (Sweet Dreams etc). They're open until seven today.
Hope this helps somebody! Bring on the grab bags!!! :j0 -
