LUSH sale update

Manchester Arndale had a "Happy Hour" today from 10-noon, spend £20 & get a grab bag.

I didn't see the poster till I was passing the store at 12:20, so I was gutted, but went inside to check & luckily they still had about 6 grab bags left so had extended the times. I bought a few items that I suddenly "needed" (totalling £22), & left with a grab bag containing:

100g Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly £2.30
BB Seaweed Face Mask £4.95
Business Time Massage Bar £4.10
Big Blue Ballistic £2.95
Banana Moon Soap £3.25 (Could be wrong on this one, but its not labelled & its the closest thing it looks like in the Lush Times, but looks nothing like the online pic from the website! Its a Browny-tan colour with speckles at the top & doesn't smell like bananas!!!)
Ultimate Shine Shampoo Bar £4.65
Total £22.20


along with a sample pot of Veganese Conditioner, thanks to the lovely SA! So I came home one happy person! I'm not usually in the right place at the right time! :j

:TThanks.......it could be, but looking online, it doesn't look like any of them!!

Its similar the colour of the top layer of the Sandstone soap in the online pic, but its a completely even colour (like the Sexy Peel). The bits in the top layer don't look like sand, they are like what you'd find in the sink when hubby has had a shave!! Thats the best way I can describe them....they're little thin dark bits!! lol!! I can't describe the smell, either!

I wish Lush would label the items in their grab bags!! It'd save all this wondering! The SA did ask if I wanted my stuff labelling, but she only did the things that I bought at full price.

I was going to go to Manchester today. but I had to do Martins Mantra ..do I need it etc etc . It was sooo hard now Im gutted, but still have a lil smile on my face that I resisted, as I have three huge plastic boxes of unused toiletries in the spare room ..............lol

Hi, partner and kids also went to Arndale and got the grab bag, contained almost the same as yours apart from we got the Avobath ballistic instead of the massage bar. We got Banana Moon soap in ours, the kids also got a free lucky dip lush item each :j

Is it possibly Vanilla in the Mist? It's a sort of tan colour with vanilla pods (long dark tubes, a couple of millimetres in diameter) in the top part. It doesn't smell particularly vanilla-y though, more sort of chocolate/coffee with a hint of vanilla.

No, they're not tubes, they're just little flecks of black of varying lengths from about 1mm-3mm long & very fine rather than like sand or anything, really hard to describe! As Daydream_Believer says theres was Banana Moon too, I'm beginning to think my first guess was correct, but it doesn't smell remotely banana-y!!!

I had a banana moon soap few years back when retro was first launched, and its the same as you described. Yellow with black little flakes,was a very faint banana smell to me.
