Aw - poor you! And poor Seth, sounds like he didn't have much fun today. Harvester have those crap highchairs that babies slip around inside IME.

We weren't allowed to celebrate christmas at work for years because of 1 member of staff so we have a winter ball instead. It is normally in January but this year it is March because the company is so busy. It's ace getting a big knees up when nobody else does

Sparkle, hope you are feeling better. I'm seem to remember that someone on the pregnancy thread was a bit of an expert on dogs but can't remember who? My sister ended up getting a cage for her puppy because it kept trying to dig up the lino.

I like talking about my BS, which reminds me - I still need to wright it up for the thread. The only question I have is could I have done it better ? I was stalling so changed position but pushed too hard in the new position and Erin shot out and I got 2nd degree tears

Beenie, Dr Sears recommends putting pressure on the stomach while you burp baby, it works for Erin. It's only really needed in sitting burping though as you already have it if you are burping over the shoulder or knee.

Karen, it's great that Tegan is holding stuff already, Erin's not quite there yet. Hope you enjoy being at your mums, I spent 3 weeks at my mums over christmas and it was great.

Just read in another thread that:
A husband has the right to enter his name on the child’s birth certificate, whether or not he is actually the father.

Is this really true? I don't remember anything being mentioned in the paperwork for the birth certificate, although can't say I was really looking for it (or that with it to be honest, we registered him late!).

The high chair was crap, and it had a hard bar across the back with no padding that he kept hitting his poor head on the strap was eased out to the max but still was so tight it pulled him down! I think if I'm ever brave enough to take him somewhere "proper" for lunch again I'll have to get one of those booster seats first.
They also said they didnt have anywhere I could put his folded up buggy so I had to put it under the table where my feet should have been, but then a lady in a wheelchair came in and once she'd got in a chair they took the wheelchair and put it out the way for her, which annoyed me, not sure if its wrong that it annoyed me though

Oh, Jenny, sorry I didnt get to the PO yet will try and get there tomorrow before work!

I'm also getting two tops, two cardigans and two dresses from Coast courtesy of my most lovely husband, although it amused me when I looked that I'd shopped the way I normally do rather than complete fantasy shopping - I'd not put the things I liked but thought were too expensive in the basket although I wasn't planning on buying the stuff anyway :rotfl:

hi ladies! yet another birthday here today lewis is 8! so he shares a bday with MFD DSS!!
Erin managed to open my purses and was sitting with my road tax money in her hand and a big grin, just as well i managed to prise it out her fingers!
hope things are better now your home em! Charlie is a nightmare when we take him out and usually has everyone looking at us and whispering how naughty he is.

elle - glad you had a good time. I like most of the mums that go to boobie group but sometimes they can be a bit "must be organic, reuseable, eco friendly..." that I've felt a bit awkward so I don't go now
