just got our hipp weaning pack. not bad at all for a freebie.

I let J play with the spoon cos IMO its a bit big for a 1st spoon. the bib is fab and he really liked the banana & peach cereal (darn I threw the wrapper & it had a voucher on it)

oh well he's enjoying the C&G i got for £1 so thats OK. Just having a rest from porridge while he fills his nappy

OMG seriously Chris has a death wish I swear!! just looked up and he had the laptop plug (which the other end of is plugged into the main!!) in his mouth  I though when they were 'grown up' you didn't need to keep removing stuff from their mouths!!

I though the hipp spoons were massive too

R Mac - sorry you suffer PND, how horrid is it when we should be enjoying our little bundles.....I hope to get over it sooner so I can start enjoying life again. How has it been for you (if you don't mind me asking?)

Hi there. No worries about asking. Only diagnosed end of November/begining December but I'm definitely seeing a change for the better already. My HV and GP have been really supportive. That's been great as I was a bit worried that they were going to laugh at me and say - it'just how life is - get on with it! TBH it's not effecting my time with LO too much (although I have had a few mornings where I've cired my way through breakfast and I don't like LO seeing that). It's more DH that's had it in the neck! Poor him - although sometimes it's just his own fault!!! Oh, yes and my patience wares very thin very wuickly, so I suppose I'm a bit uptight with LO sometimes, although I'm concious to try very hard not to be like that.

Sorry to hear that you have it too. If you ever want a chat then feel free to PM me :D

MFD - a big happy birthday to DSS from r.mac towers. (that's orange juice BTW - can't have him having beer yet:eek:

    Hello all,

just taking a minute to check in: Elena has just woken from a nap but is just lying and looking at me :D I obviously haven't been able to get her nails cut properly again (she woke up when I was trying yesterday!) as she now has a red line and a little scab on her cheekbone :( I hope she can't scar herself with all this scratching!

With a scottish meet - as it'd take me a good 3hours or so to get to edinburgh, a weekend would probably be best for me if I can make it, as then I can take the car and my hubby won't be stranded. :)

  • :hello: to everyone who said hi!

Bruno, Liam's reflux was being controlled by using a thickening formula (SMA Staydown) but has gradually built up again to where he wouldn't lie on his back, crying in his sleep, only settling on his side, grumpy etc... We only had the excessive and projectile vomiting previously. This all seemed to happen around christmas and around colds and signs of teething, it took me a few weeks to make the connection. He has improved loads since we moved onto gaviscon. The sleep issues were reflux related, we are back to more or less 7/8pm to 8/9am :D

    Fitzio - no worries hun!
