I wouldn't have thought it cost that much! I sent a big parcel to Ireland - I said £16 postage but it was £11 so I refunded them a fiver cos I didn't know how much it would be (yes, I did use the website) and didn't want to be out of pocket.
I always take the Bumbo - easier than bouncy chair and means I can feed him without faffing with the highchair. Although he tries to escape the Bumbo by stretching backwards and is now trying to sit forward in his bouncy chair
How much r u going to go up to? They were £25 in Mothercare with the tray
they all say 'will refund you if cheaper' but when i searched on ebay ireland there were none at all for sale. unlike the uk version where there is loads!
being tight dont want to really pay over £15 but i have a few weeks before we go so not urgent but would be good to get this one. there is another cheap one that are doing free postage and thats at £5.50 at the moment so if i dont win this one i;ll try that one instead.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Glam, no walking, just loves to be on his feet all the time. The walker thing is just for him to hold onto, it was actually wedged up against the TV unit.
Food wise, Liam usually has whatever we had the night before. I'm not as organised as you, but have made up meals in the freezer for if we have something I can't save for him and I use jars too. I suppose anything goes. ATM, I'm struggling with a balance between food & formula
The only thing he has refused is cauli and seems to favour meat based meals. I use the jars for inspiration for HM meals too. ie: C&G Sweets potato bake is SP, rice, chicken & carrot IIRC so Liam has HM versions of this in the freezer. I love that he wolfed down a full portion of the HM but pulled a face at the jar.0 -

aww love the piccie of dylan in his chair!
okay need to alleviate worry-wart DH: last night and just now, Finn has done some massive upchucks of prolly around 2oz. Both were right after a feed while lying flat. I told him this is pretty normal esp. as he had just eaten, but DH is a bit of a hypochrondriac (whereas I only go to the doctor if I'm dying!) so he's inclined not to believe me! (he also thinks FInn's baby acne is chicken pox! :rotfl: bless him, it'd be sweet if not annoying)

I
They were £25 in Mothercare with the tray
Hi Glam, when was this? Was it recent ? She says hopefully! - May be having a possible trip to Mothercare at the weekend, and can only see them for £36.99 on the website, with tray.
I want a high chair, but am thinking that the bumbo and tray may be easier to take to my mums, and mILS on their days for having Alex.
Also what is this routine, many of you speak of, Alex will be 20 weeks tomorrow and the only thing that remains constant, is that he finally drops off at 9.30 - 10pm every night. He still wakes 2 to 3 times a night and wants feeding. And its a nightmare now being back at work.
I'm attempting to start to wean, do first tastes an all. But thats not so good, because i'm not doing it all and needing feedback from mum, mil and childminder. Alex takes food from the spoon well for me, but no so for childminder. Its hard to gauge how many meals i should be giving him, when only doing all day myself at weekends. Have only been using jars, packets for the last two weeks. But am going to batch cook some veg and fruit purees at the weekend. Ice cube trays are waiting.:p Hopefully i will be able to measure how much food he wants, by upping him from 1 to 2 to 3 cubes etc when needed.
I also got the Hipp weaning pack yesterday and have signed up to organix today (thanks to Sami). Have never considered changing Alex milk from Aptamil once he gets to 6 months. But now may consider that one too. Along with the night time milk. Don't remember that being around when i had DS1.
Well i've rambled on for long enough now, but just want to say very cure phots, MM, NMS and Beenie.:D0
