Oh cool...I really don't want all the stress I have had this year so am definitely up for this...I am going to do My mum and Mil a hamper, a chocolate one for MIL ...not sure about my mum, maybe a wine/alcohol one but they can't cost more than £20 each...cheaper if possible:p
I asked my mum to tell my younger sister not to buy me and dh gifts for next year...I feel really guilty because I can't really afford to get her one back and if I do then I will HAVE to get my two brothers something too and at the end of the day I will have 4 kids to buy for next year and onwards, also I would much rather she spent that money on the kids.....She bought me and dh his and hers Burberry perfume/aftershave...last year she did the same but the beckhams ones, and the year before it was similar again...and I'm sure they are not cheap:cool:
I will tell her myself but it is hard to say it without sounding ungrateful that she has bought us something this year...maybe I should leave it a few monthsWhat do you think?

Oooh that's a lot of roasts....Glad she got the perfect ring, your right tho, a few extra quid doesn't really mean much when it is (hopefully) something she will be wearing for the rest of her life;)
Yes xbox is all set up and kids are overjoyed (not without it's problems again today, but sorted now)...tbh we have spent an absolute fortune this year, wasn't intentional and is money that we should never have spent...but, well too late now:o Although the money received from grandparents covered the cost of the xbox:)
I am still annoyed about yesterday, me hold a grudge...nah:p But we have stayed in all day today and although he said to his mate as we were leaving, that we would be back today, I think he knows that would be a bad move and hasn't even mentioned it:oUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

This is what's bugging me, we have never been a well-off family, not poverty line but by no means rich!!
It was always once you hit 18 then no pressies except maybe off mum n dad and that would only be £10/£20 in a card. We never got anything from aunties/uncles/grandparents, they only bought stuff for the kids, which in my opinion is tha way it should be.
My sister is not rolling in it but is working (nearly) full-time and living with her fiance at his parents house, so they only pay minimal rent and the rest of their money is their own, yes they run a car between them but apart from that I don't think they have many other outgoings...and I know she can afford it, but it makes me feel bad and that £40+ could easily have gone towards the kids insead...I don't think she bought them much actually:cool:Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Yeah, I will leave it a month or so maybe and tell her then. It is lovely that she gets us stuff but I think all she got the boys was a selection box each...I would rather she bought them something else instead.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

We changed a couple of years ago in that the kids always get something from everyone but we put all the adults names in a hat and then draw out the names and each person gets one present, mainly as my parents are 75 and have everything, my aunt and uncle are in their 80's (no kids) so have everything and we were finding it difficult to choose presents for the rest of us as well.
Strange Boxing day this as its the first time I can ever remember us all doing our own things... normally we would go to my mums for dinner and then another buffet tea like last night but we decided as my sister is down in a few days we will all meet up again then and have another 'Christmas' with her and her kids.
Breastfeeders....question please.... when do you express? I generally feed William on one breast so do I then express from the other one straight after? PS can I have any alcohol while BF, even just one on NYE?
Have to catch up on tele tonight as didnt watch enders, dr who or anyhting last night apart from Royale family and G&S when everyone went...Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -

i only get for about 12 people (including philip and the kids) and that because of the rule we only buy for kids and with my sister because she lives in london where we buy something for the kids and slap each others name on it then we dont have to worry about the post and we know what each others kids want or needs x
Still searching .....:)
