I think it'd be a great idea to have christmas first week in January - then we could do all of the shopping in the sales! I can't get the rest of the family to agree though.
Was Rhys totally overwhelmed yesterday? V was sat on the floor surrounded by a ridiculous amount of toys looking confused about what to do first!:beer:0 -
love the hampers 3 im itching to get down the shops with my list for next year x
Still searching .....:)

Since being about 14, I've always thought I'd not mind getting and IOU for a big present to be bought in a few weeks but it's never been done. I get money from my grandparents for the sales now though - used to get it at the beginning of December, got to choose what I wanted (if clothes shopping so I could try them on etc), then had to give the present back to Grandma for wrapping! Was Rhys totally overwhelmed yesterday? V was sat on the floor surrounded by a ridiculous amount of toys looking confused about what to do first!
He quickly got the idea of undoing the wrapping to find a present, and knew when another present appeared you had to take the paper off to reveal something else.. kept looking at me wide-eyed :rotfl:We've unpacked three toys this morning.. trying not to overload him but I wanna play with it all!
SM, are you not doing online browsing too? Hurrah for computer cookies.. I've got virtual baskets all over the place with things in, added them as I saw them and I'll go back later and decide if I really want them0 -

Do you know what you want for everyone, SM, or are you buying a selection of things that could be used several people?
I'm sale shopping (online, can't be bothered with the shops) for things for the house - clock, lounge mirror, bathroom mirror, christmas decs - and the odd few presents if I see something suitable.0 -

:rotfl:I do trust you.
I like things in vinegar even less at the mo. so I'm not really sure why I'm jumping to conclusions
we're off to B and Q, anyone need anything? xxx
Oh! did I miss you.....I need a door and door frame:p and most likely some plaster, grout, tile adhesive, hinges, door handles.......Me thinks I will regret monday's 'little' project:rolleyes:
Well I have eaten a lovely gammon butty today and it seems to have stayed in (so far), Ds1 has also managed to eat without getting stomach cramps but ds3 still has stinky, watery, mustardy nappies (sorry if your eating:o) and isn't really himself, not ill ill, but not quite right iykwim
Mum popped back in today stayed long enough to have coffee:cool: must of been the text I sent her about her never stopping and always rushing off after 2 mins!
Gonna go and put the beef on to cook now:D

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas! My beef ended up overcooked in the slow cooker and was just crumbling, so it's in the freezer to make up steak pies!
Keira got loads but she kept asking for more presents! Don't think she quite understands the whole, you open what you have and thats it! But it's because OH's family kept giving out presents during the whole day so she must of thought, oh 10more mins have gone by, wheres my next present!
OH got me the minpins for Christmas, which was really nice as that was my fave book as a kid!
Oh and my charger for the laptop broke on Xmas eve, stopped charging! I'd only had it 3weeks, so took it to apple store today (Even though I bought it from amazon for £25 cheaper....) and they replaced it straight away, and with a charger like my old one with a long lead, not like the pap one I got from Amazon that just plugs into the wall!
Good service!0
