I found that my stupid draughty damp filled house gets cold within a couple of minutes of the heating being off, so its on constant but on the lowest setting. That is, unless OH sees the setting and announces "thats why I'm freezing then" and turns it up, having not mentioned being cold beforehand and sitting in a t shirt :rolleyes:Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

It's probably that 'someone'... You know... The one that always takes the empty toilet rolls off the bathroom floor... and puts the shoes and coats back in the cupboard...
Is that like the ironing fairy? And the picking up towels fairy? And the turning lights off fairy?
I heard rumours that they might all be going on strike :cool:please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
My heaters have been playing up, I've turned the thermostat up to 29C
and put the heaters on full whack, yet sometimes I'm still cold!!
Maybe I should stop leaving windows open to "air the house out"
I wouldn't have too if OH would stop eating a clove of garlic before bed to ward off GERMS, thus stinking out bedrooms with garlic pores!
Oh and I pay £8 a week for the gas, that does my heating and hot water, same price regardless of what I use = A lot0 -

If you're just expressing for comfort and feeding him yourself then cutting down on the expressing might help, but it's more a time thing... Your body just needs to settle down a bit and it's only been a short time since he was born (happy 1 month birthday
) Like Sami, we're over 7 months and I still need a breastpad on occasion...
I am probably feeding him 90% bottle and 10% breast as they seem to fill up too quick and he cant take it (forceful let down thing?) and is always sick when I breastfeed, it doesnt happen when he has EBM on bottle...he has the odd bottle of formula (last thing at night).Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -

Actually, that reminds me: I had a phonecall yesterday from a HV who wanted to do a home visit because we've moved house. She was very persistant and said she needed to come so I could sign an immunisation consent form because otherwise we wouldn't be sent appointments as we are in a different area. I told her that I had no problems and never had and didn't see any need to see her. Eventually she agreed not to come when I said she could post me the form and I'd send it back. She asked me if I'd had problems with my previous HV as apparently she doesn't think that having no need to see a HV is a valid/genuine reason not to want to see one. Am I the only person who has never had any need to see the HV? I wouldn't have expected it to be that unusual.
In most areas it is protocol for a HV to go out and see any family that have moved into the area, more just to say hello and introduce themselves, even if the family don't need/want to see them0 -
Nah HV's just want to come round and see if your bathroom is clean - According to my mum0
