  • Afternoon ladies.

We went out last night whilst MIL looked after the boys and a fun time was had by all...I have also managed 2 naps of over an hour each today so I am feeling remotely human!!

Benjamin fell out of the bed this morning :(

Hubby had just come downstairs to make a cup of coffee at about 7.45am and Benjamin crawled over to his side of the bed, got to the edge and stopped (because he knows it is the edge) and then sat down and fell backwards over the edge

Poor little man scared the life out of himself - he was very sweaty for a while - but no harm done :o

Just when you think you have taught them to stop at the edge of the bed something else happens!!

    Hope everyone is okay. xx

IMO there is nothing wrong or chavvy about feeding your baby rusks or any jars of baby food.

Weaning is sometimes a complicated enough process without being labelled as a chav simply for failing to hand prepare everything that goes in the babys mouth.

i thought rusks etc were ok. i have a box of sugar free ones.
just seem to get a bit of a bashing sometimes.

They were good enough for my DD, and my sister and I when we were babies so I'm sure they are fine for Kian:cool:
(although I'm sure my mum ate most of ours!)
  • Can't find the reference to rusks being chavvy but I didn't use any when Benjamin was tiny because I was horrified at the list of ingredients.

Now he has the biscotti as a snack...although he prefers Moo biscuits or gingerbread.

We use jars as a standby for if we need something quick...although having said that Benjamin just refused a jar so he is sat eating leftovers from lunch of carrots peas and green beans. He eats much better when he is in control.

As for Gregs Sausage Rolls - I had one a few weeks ago and I was shocked at how salty they are.

Sorry to hear Benjamin falling out of bed. I hope the little man is okay now.

Rusks chavvy? They've been around longer than chavs! And sausage rolls from Greggs chavvy? Why? I've never been in Greggs, so maybe i'm missing something?

My girls all had rusks when younger and we own our own house and aren't violent. 15yo's odd altercation with ex boyfriend aside :p
