I'm here. Just enjoying Lucy's company in front of the TV. We don't watch much TV, but she's teasing me over the nice girl in Celeb Big Bro.

Talking of Lucy. She wants to quit her job and work from home. She used to make jewellery and sell it like she used too before she needed more money, so she got a job in a GP surgery. She's not happy there with the new practice manager being a bit of a bully and she still sells jewellery in small amounts, but could sell alot more if she put her mind to it.

The money is not an issue, as we would still be better off with an extra head than a few months ago before child tax credits and she has substantial savings, as do I and neither of us are heavy spenders on anything, it's just the usual day to day things and the girls.

She also sees it as a way of becoming a full time 'carer' for want of a better word, for the girls, to help me out.

I know she's not happy at work and she loves being here.

What have you been up to Carla?

this is interesting Mel and Scruffy as when i give LO her food, i sit her in front of me so i can talk to her etc when she is eating. maybe she doesn't like it because when i am cooking and i give her a biscuit or something she just gets on with it and enjoys it (unless she is tired then it just ends up on the floor)
