LOL - no I missed that!
Stickers are awesome. We're now at the stage where Charlotte will do anything for a sticker :rotfl:
Hi Becles
Tell us a Charlotte story!!
I am going to buy stickers this afternoon!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

nipped to asda (well trekked really) got some bargain oops though so worth the trip :j.
so glad tia, wasnt your OH, how worrying for you all the same. was the bus/car driver ok?
bruno- i think sb idea of nursery once or twice a week is fab. when i cracked infront of DH the other week its what i said. 'just to be able to go and have a relaxing coffee, read a magazine or even try on an outfit rather than the usual- yeah that looks my size'. its having your own time away from the home to be you.
beccles- i was wondering who Jack was then i realised its your new dog :rotfl::rotfl:'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

aless, I get through days like that thinking 'at 8/9/10pm I will be sitting on my sofa with a cup of tea/glass of wine safe in the knowledge that its over with and I don't have to dread it any more!'.
Hugs

Hi Becles, glad you had a nice christmas:D
Feelie, thanks for mentioning me/kai in your mammoth post:) Not sure if you are really interested, but I think the turning point with kai's eating was more to do with letting him eat himself, rather than spoon feeding him. The fact that he is eating with us is secondary imo, but he does try to copy us by using his spoon, except it usually results in him hammering his food with it rather than 'using' it.
OMG I don't know what to do with him....our doctors are rubbish they will just tell me to phone back in th emorning for an appt, maybe if I wait till out of hours then see if I can get him in with them? We are all starting to get snappy with each other now, and the older two have hidden themselves away in their room for most of the day as it is, it's not really fair on them and I can hear them getting ratty with each other now too!Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -

hi everyone
sorry for disappearing again - I kind of feel a bit like Jillie posted in that as much as I love posting I didn't really miss posting over Christmas and New Year but I do miss you guys and think 'Oh I must tell everyone that'! Also been hard to post as Jack's not sleeping as much as he did and this week ....................
OH & BIL haven't been to work! Our road doesn't get gritted and it is about 3 inches of compacted ice under another 4 inches of snow! We managed to dig the cars but by ASDA was completely out of salt and we decided that a bit of snow was better than ice so we gave up!
Not wanting to bore everyone with my news
Jack is sitting up with support but can sit on his own for around 10secs til he forgets and falls over.
He is in his cot now :j although OH is sick of tiptoeing around and wants Jack in his own room which we might do in a few weeks cos fed up of waking him up when we get up or come to bed.
OH let Jack suck on his apple earlier and Jack loved it! He has had a taste of banana as well - just in his mouth no swallowing though!
Jack was like a loon for about 2hours after the apple so he must have had a high of the juice!
Despite my post the other day, Jack is now back on 6 bottles a day (every 3 hours from 7am until 11pm) so think we are on another growth spurt!
Having a rough time in the evenings with Jack - it's almost like Colic. He is screaming and drawing his legs up, it's awful and I find it very difficult to calm him down. It happens around 8pm when I am trying to settle him for bed and last til around 9-10pm, he then falls asleep but cries in his asleep like he's having a bad dream. Fortunately he's OK after his dream feed though. GP thought he might have a tummy bug but he seems OK the rest of the time
Jillie - I know what you mean about time to yourself. OH has done nothing but play PS3 these last 3 days cos 'he's on holiday'. I don't need a holiday cos I'm on Maternity Leave. He just doesn't get it!
Hoping they go to work tomorrow so I get chance to catch up with you all - evenings are v.busy doing tea/bottles/bath/bed/soothe/cuddle etc then DF then bed. So I want my days back!
Hope you are all OK and thanks to choppy/feelie and everyone else who asked where I wasA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0
