MOTM, thanks, I was just curious about how a single dad handles 'girly stuff', and you sound like you do very well. As for 'Phone-gate', sounds like a reasonable punishment.

SM, the DFW and the benefits threads are horrible! Folk are really up themselves in there (at times). Why the hell go in if you are just going to be nasty? But sadly, it's getting the same everywhere in here. Free for all on the nasties.

I tried going to bed but not tired enough to sleep.
  • I'm still really crampy and sore, so am sitting up till I cant keep my eyes opena nd then go to bed, as that way I should get a fairly decent sleep !! Or thats the theory anyway :p

    Yay to Rhys sitting:)

Yay to Dylan for opening his fisties and reaching.... TBH MM i don't think I ever knew the full extent of his problems or what hydro was! So thank you so much for your post explaining.

I think there are that many of us in here with children of all different ages I personally find it hard to remember which babies/children are the ones who are fighting harder than others.

I am so glad that all the babies who are overcoming difficulties are doing so well:D I often think of myself as very fortunate to have three very healthy boys (despite ds 2's dyslexia/dyspraxia/hypermobility problems) and think you must be very strong to cope with all the extra's you have to do.

motm - glad it was all sorted easily, and honestly, if that is the worst your girls get up to you should count yourself very lucky and know you have done a good job with them.....I won't even begin to tell youthe things I had got up even before I was 15 and my dad kicked me out!

Kai temp was really high again by 10pm I ws downstairs with him consoling his crying and trying to dose him up on calpol & nurofen...took about an hour but he seemed to settle ok back in his cot when I put him in. Here's hoping he will sleep all night now and wake up perky;)
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Amber seems to have decided on a cool routine for herself already! This is how the last few nights have gone...

Amber looks sleepy after gazing around for a while, so go to bed.
    Change nappy
    Poo in new nappy
    Feed a bit
Refuse to bring up wind. Get hiccups.
    Change nappy.
    Poo in new nappy.
    Feed. Hiccups.
    Repeat til 3am. Sleep.

    :rotfl::rotfl:

Would rather she did this a few hours ago lol!

tia benefit board is the worst i dont go in there .. ever! but the DFW i do lurk in as not all are bad .. but when people put up there soa's they can be torn apart but if you are going to ask opinions that you're gonna get the cold hard truth .. believe me some of the complaining i could slap myself .. spend £800 on food and still have a good lump sum at the end of the month and still complaining but when you say it nicely nicely they dont listen or make excuses x

I've had to learn. I'm not easily embarrassed and people are often surprised when I handle monthly female issues and the like comfortably, and often critical when they hear of my girls carrying condoms and being taught about 'taboo' things.

I'm unsure about this single dad thing now. I'm not a single dad anymore and I kind of liked it, but like being with Lucy too

    Make any sense?

Until Lucy arrived, I guess I didn't appreciate how good I was, if I can be less than modest for once  I guess I feel less important now :o It was us against the world, now we have a new addition - and I love it, but part of me feels less of a dad now :o

Anyway, must dash to bed :o

Oh and who started this Celeb BB talk  How sweet is Nicola. Totally the opposite of the topless model stereotype. Seems a nice girl.

MM, I hate that. The only time of the month I get up early. Have you tried those funkey tummy stretches? You lie on your belly and raise your shoulders so you curl up and stretch your tummy muscles.
