I know they are good girls, although looking at how they are developing, they are going to be heartbreakers. They didn't get their good looks from me! I have done a good job with them, but i'll still blame every mistake on me.
You were kicked outI think you posted that before. I won't ask why, but that sounds harsh! I've always asked my girls to be open with me and i'll be open with them. I think it would have to be something mega serious for me to kick them out

tia, I dont do exercises of any kind
However, considering I spent this morning doing my BMI, waist measurement and hip to waist ratio and realised I need to lose 3 stone 10 to get down to my ideal weight, I should maybe start something !!The two best things I have done with my life

Carla.. come on, explain your big news of the day! (saw it on FB)
WELL. I was doing the dreaded task of phoning work/Head office to find out the exact date im due to go back. the lady was lovely and she went and checked the computer for me, and my 26 week period is up on 29th Jan. 39 week period is up 30th April, and i didnt take heed to the52 week date as i was always plannig on the 39weeks (couldnt afford to be unpaid for 3months!) so YAY!
I had it in my head that i was due back in Feb (altho wasnt sure if it was start, middle or end) so finding out that I was wrong all along and it is April is absoloutely FANTASTIC news!!! :T Im so chuffed!I wasnt obviosuly taking into consideration that 2/3 of the weeks I was off at the start was sick leave, and then some holidays that i hadnt accouinted for.
So more tme for me to [STRIKE]decide if i want to go back to the hell that I call work/decide if i would like to be a childminder/get a new job/[/STRIKE]arrange a childminder! :cool:ManOnTheMoon wrote: ȣ84 lighter thanks to 15yo's phone bill. All sorted now though, at least amicabally between us.
Glad you found some time for yourself :T
wow. £84 is a lot!!
but yes, i am going to MAKE time for myself. I am not just a cook/cleaner/mummy. I am Carla and need to do things just for me!{Lets see how long this lasts!)

Sorry, MOTM, I meant single dad in that during the years when they started puberty you were a single dad, not now.
SM, I know that at times it is more a truth hurts scenario, but sometimes it's just downright nasty. We have been there and only became debt free dec 2008, £16'000 worth of it from when we were so poor that we had to skip the council tax to buy food (pasta, mince, tatties, baby milk). Bouncing DD about because there just wasn't the money there, and being told that if we lost the house we wouldn't be given housing because DH was in work. Probably why I'm such a money haemeroger now.
Aw great news Carla!0 -

Well done on the extra break :T
You have extra time for yourself now. No parent is just a cook/cleaner/parent. You have to do you things, even if some of us find it hard. I still feel guilty now.
Anyway must dash, really have to get too Lucy. One of our 'us' things

Oh sure, I was just reminiscing my single dad days. I'm still like a single dad as Lucy is seen as a friend to the girls, as opposed to a Mother.
I'm talking gibberish

i did this a few months ago i had to .. i only had myself to count on for money ever until philips now first wage on thursday and even then i still will only count my money for bills as i never relie on anyone else although he knows everything .. i think i take too much on then it never works out so i wanna orgainise keep it simple so its easier .. i dont know why just makes me so angry when i see them claiming they're completely broke then go spend willy nilly esp when they have kids and stuff ..... ok that turned in to alittle something there .. sorry..

I think it's great you buy your girls tampons MOTM. I made OH get mine the other day and had a right moan on about it, and was like "Get it yourself" and I was like WELL I WOULD IF I HAD A TAMPON!!
My dad has never ever ever ever bought sanitary products, for any of us, and my mum. Embarrassed apparently - Why? It's obvious it's not for them, it's not like they are buying Take a Break!
Oh did I mention the other day? I went into town on Saturday - If you remember my real dad who I hadn't seen in 18years added me on FB, well he was talking to me as I was getting ready, and asked how I was getting into town and I said bus, and he offered to give me a lift. So I said yes! It was a bit surreal, he seems okay, refers to my Step dad as my dad which is right.
But he texts me now and then now too? Tis odd!0
