Ah thats good, I think my new car is near chesire, (newton le willows) so maybe will be able to get this week after all!

Jasmine is tired, rubbing her eyes but just wont have a nap!! shes just had a bottle so gonna give her some lunch and see if she will nod off,

i need to think what to make for tea as well, nothing defrosted and no potatoes or veg so not looking good!! think its gona be something out the freezer with some super noodles lol

    x

I'm not far from N-L-W and we have about 4-5 inches of snow :j
OH & BIL (yes, still here!) are both off as BIL's car got stuck in the snow so they couldn't get to work!

Oh and it's still snowing a bit

Im having spag bol for tea which I took out the freezer yesterday.

Have to go to docs later as I think Jack has an ear infection judging by the green goo coming out of his ear - could explain the constant screaming last night and at 3am this morning
Think I'll do a Tigs & wear my big boots and put Jacks in a big snuggly suit - will wear sling and pray I don't fall (no way pram getting thru this!)

Jack not eating too much lately, has anywhere between 4 and 6ozs which is a pain. Then when he finishes his bottle he puts his bib in his mouth and chews on it like he's still hungry  but wont take anymore milk!

Is already sitting up well (with support obviously) but we have had a few periods where he sits up on his own when he is on my lap.

Em - OH's are so annoying! Big hugs

    Morning all,

Still thick snow here. I think it's snowed every day since before Christmas. Cars are still getting stuck outside my house. Not going to bother going out today. Just don't think it's worth getting H all dressed etc without reason. Plan is to take Christmas tree down and start on the Wii Fit.

Krystal - I am making Roast Chicken for dinner. Will make Chicken Chow Mein tomorrow with leftover chicken and Chicken Salad for lunch probably. Chicken overdose!

Aww anyone watching the puppies on TM?

Other plan is to start getting H into some sort of routine. She went to bed at 9.30 last night and slept til 9am today. I can live with that but eventually moving to 8-7 or thereabouts, I think.
Was interested in MFD saying about the routine matching a work day so it's easier for when you go back (although I still have a while to go thankfully).

Tigs, dolichocephaly is the term. Its a pain, but using the blanket does help. Amber had a bit of plagiocephaly (flattening of one side) and I've been propping her head with a blanket in her bouncer for about 10 weeks now and her head is now nicely rounded out.

Fitzio - does H have a bottle in between the 9pm-9am?

Jack has a bottle at around 6.30pm-7pm, he wont go down before 9pm, has a dream feed at 11pm, wakes at 6.30am then goes back to sleep til 9-10am!

3 - We have bought chicken breasts, silverside and mince from Costco and have found them to be really good. My dad used to be a butcher and is fussy about the quality of meat, and he is quite happy buying from there.

    Before I go.......

V has a nasty cough which is disturbing her sleep. Can she have anything? The cough medicines i've got in the cupboard for the other two say over 3 years. Is there one for babies?

And, my uncle is planning a huge family get together for his 50th in March. He's struggling finding somewhere to take us all for a weekend.
There will be around 25 of us, and he was planning on a big holiday home to fit us all in. (or chalets maybe?)
Somewhere not to far from us here in Merseyside. Maybe up to the Lakes/Derbyshire/North Wales.

    Anyone have any ideas?

em.... ohhh dear, hope he paid you back your Christmas money. I can just imagine your responce to him, rather colourful was it?
Not as colourful as the response to finding the McD's wrappers in the car was, apparantly my dad treated him to lunch too

Postie just brought me some £1 jeans and some Body Shop bargains, I think I need to stay off grabbit for a while... just waiting on a La Senza order, [STRIKE]Seth's car seat[/STRIKE] and cat food/litter!
Ok, so literally as I was typing that Seth's car seat turned up, not particularly impressed with it... it was advertised as BNIB and has arrived not in a Britax box but a random cardboard box, in a large clear carrier bag that it clearly didnt originally come in, not only that but the random cardboard box it has come in is absolutely battered and the seat was hanging out, having escaped the plastic bag it was in! Doesnt look the same colour either. No marks on it though, or on the underneath, so dont think it has been used. Hmm.....

No, she doesn't. She has never had a night time bottle, strange baby. She had her last bottle at 8pm. Then we bathed her following a poo incident. Then put her down at 9.30pm. So 8pm - 9.30am between feeds!

She is a funny feeder though. She is only on 4 bottles per day. Sometimes she takes 8oz in a feed, and sometimes much less. She is normally around 30oz per day, but yesterday only had about 24oz. She spills loads though - most times she plays with the teat and she always has a choking fit! She is a very happy baby though so no point in worrying.

    Morning all..

It's snowing here and laying quite nicely. Glad we're having a day in! It's forecast to snow every day this week here so don't know what it'll be like by the end of the week! I want to go out to town on Thurs/Fri too - thought I'd be MSE, save myself the delivery charge and get a Boots order (inc Pamper wipes six pack for £3.66) delivered to store. Means I have to get out the house too! :o

Physio coming tomorrow so might have to make it a day of "intense strutched play" and master a few things ;) So far today we've mastered sleeping lots, eating biscuits and playing.. hmmm

MFD, nice to see you're putting in a full day! ;):p
    Em, I'd be fuming too!
Krystal, sausage pasta for tea here.. Must go through the freezer and cupboards again to see what's still in there!
