Seth went to bed in a grump last night and woke up in a grump today
definitely going to look at moving him into his own room on Thursday when OH is off and can mind him while I de/construct it, we keep waking him up when we go up to bed and he has spent the last 2 nights in our bed having unsuccessfully tried to get him to go back to sleep again  it would seem he is quite happy to sleep in his cot, but once he knows we are in our bed he wants in!
Speaking of SpecsaversI am annoyed, as they have lowered their prices and now I wont make any money :rotfl: we only earn 1% of what we put through the till as it is, and thin lenses have now been reduced by up to £50  it was lovely to go back after xmas to find my wages had effectively been lowered, just lovely
Havent been on since Saturday, have been too busy having grumps at OH and working!! On Sunday I left him with a to-do list of go to Asda to get some nappies and wipes, and roast the chicken that had a use by date of that day. I got home from work to find he'd bought one box of nappies for £12, missing out on the 2 for £20 offer, and had bought the aloe vera Huggies which make me feel sick at 8 packs for £8, instead of the pure ones at 9 packs for £8, and that he had used the xmas money fairy dad mother gave me to buy them because he "didnt want to spend any more money this month"! Then he announced he had cooked the chicken and it was in the fridge, still hot in the middle, and rather pink in places too  oh and he nearly set fire to the oven as well, judging by the removed batteries from the smoke alarm and the huge grease marks going up the tiling up the back of the oven which he hadnt wiped off
Then we were meant to be going to the IL's for dinner, and had told them we would be there at 5ish. I wasnt sure how we were meant to manage that, when I finish work at 4pm, 10 mins to walk home, have only one work uniform and needed to wash the shirt and hang it on the radiator to dry before we went? Quick washing machine load takes about 30 mins and then it takes 40 mins to actually get to IL's? So when we got there I looked rubbish cos it was my fault we were "late" after being at work all day
Didnt speak to him til this morning
So, hows everyone else? What have I missed??Mummy to

Oh, those clever fairies!
We've got quite a bit of snow here - and walked the school run. I did a comedy fall outside the co-op.Nothing hurt but my pride. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, and was too scared to turn around and see if anyone had seen me.
My DD has learned how to turn the tv on and off.
She also has a new smile - a really daft one with a crinkled up nose! I'm not sure where she got that from.

I'd be annoyed too Em.
Can someone give me a kick in the pants please? I'm sitting here instead of finishing the last piece of work I need to do before getting to do other worky stuff at home. But the thing I'm doing is kicking my butt.
Also, I am feeling a really weird sensation in my lower abdomen, like bubbles but only on the leftish side. What's there, does anyone know? Have I just admitted to having embarrassing wind or is that something that might happen post-C section?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Aww Em. Hope things get better now he's had an a$$ kicking.
SS - I had lots of wind post c-section. They actually gave me morphine for it while I was in hospital, worse than bloomin contractions. So not surprising at all. When was your section?

Lu, Molly's five months old, and although I did have dreadful wind for the few days after she was born nothing till today. Perhaps I'm just a freak of nature :rotfl:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

My woolies order arrived this morning... I got Caitlyn this... But the T-shirt was missing and there aren't any more available to order... I rang them up and they knocked another 20% off for me
Also got some pretty dresses for the girls... They're so pretty I'd ordered 2 sizes for Caitlyn, but when you put them next to each other there's barely any difference.. I will hold onto it... My friends daughter will be 1 just after Caitlyn so I might give it to her as a birthday present... It was supposed to be £21 reduced to £4A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls...
