Clothing
1st baby - you wear maternity clothes as soon as your pregnant
2nd baby - you wear your own clothes as long as possible

Preparing for the Birth
1st - you practice your breathing as often as you can
2nd - you dont bother cuz you know it didnt help
3rd - you ask for the epidural as soon as you go in
Major Concerns for being a parent
1st - you pick them up as soon as they make a crying sound
2nd - you pick them up when you think the neighbours might wake
3rd - you teash the 2 year old to rewind the mechanical swing
Dummies
1st - If it falls on the floor you put it away and steralise before reuse
2nd - you clean it with a bit of juice from the babies bottle
3rd - you wipe it on your shirt or suck it before giving it back
Babysitters
1st - the first time you leave the baby you call home at least 4 times
2nd - you remember to leave contact details just as you are leaving the house
3rd - you give instructions to call only of there is blood0 -

yeah the 2nd, I'm so stressed - not at all ready. I'm telling MIL under no circumstances is she to book this close to christmas again!
no party here, I hate new year - so pointless. we're going to my mum's in a bit just for an hour or 2 because my sis is here. We usually go up to sis's but obv can't do that with holiday it would be a complete nightmare!
It is a bit close to New Year. Most people will not have even recovered!
I never celebrate New Year, but this year, slightly different. New relationship, new start for us all. Party is a bit of an overstatement - food and drink left from Christmas. listening to music whilst talking :rotfl:

2000 Mum kicked me out, went to live at my nans
2001 Got my first job in Somerfield, finished school, started college
2002 Met my ex, practically moved in, quit college, lost 4 1/2st
2003 Beauty college, ex got stabbed in the face, split up, got a job at phones4u
2004 Nothing particularly interesting, just a lot of drunken nights out, met ex#2
2005 Moved in with ex#2, moved back home 4 months later :rotfl: didnt realise I was pregnant til after I'd moved back home, ex didnt believe me, I had a miscarriage and he went round telling everyone I'd lied cos there was no baby :rolleyes:
2006 Moved out with BFF, GOOD TIMES, my year of fun
2007 Moved back home... again :rotfl: met OH!
2008 Moved out (for good this time!) with OH, found out was pregnant with Seth, quit Phones4u for O2, got screwed over and went to Specsavers
2009 Had Seth, got my house and kitties, got engaged. Best Year Ever
