  • i dont have an relationship with any of my fathers (long story) so philip showing the kids how its suppose to be is enough ...

    i quite agree ...

lets tie a rock to them and do the world a favour :D x

I never had a relationship of any sort with my Father either, which is why i've made the relationship with my girls massively important. Trying to be a good role model is an important responsibility, even more so after what their mothers did (they have NO relationship with either mother), so finding Lucy has been an added bonus, as my girls like it or not, need a good female role model as well.

I think i'm the opposite of most here, with being not only the single father for a few years, but also having children with bad female role models, so even though men/boys are looked at as horrible smelly creatures (myself excluded :D) but older females are looked upon as nasty creatures too. Lucy's personality and gentleness are just what they needed.

I'm sure Philip is doing a great job. Talking of jobs, getting his current temporary job will also do his own confidence no harm :T

Can we add Alexandra Burke to the Gaga/Peas bottom of the ocean list, or do you like her? :o

Any Sunday suits me MM, as DH (which does not stand for dear husband, rather D.Head) has the kids all day Sunday, or if you bringing your own, then any day at all, im easy :rotfl:

My father's a right plonker as well. He made contact with me about 6 months ago, after 15 years of nothing. He is full of regrets, then started talking about how much he loves smoking dope, infront of my kids too!!!
  • Just popped in to wish you all a Happy New Year and thank you for all the ideas and advice you give through the year. xx
