Will have a chat with OH and let you know.... will send you address as well

Can I ask, if you had milk stored in fridge could you add to it after its been there for a day or not?
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.
  • Ok Maz just let me know.

Personally I would add to the milk within 24hrs. If i'd expressed in the morning and then again in the evening put it in the same bottle/storage bag etc. But then I'd use it within 3 days or freeze it and use within 3 months.

Maz, mine always put on about 1oz a day for a while. X

DD just been on phone in a pickle, her employer has told her she's only entitled to 26wks maternity leave as she's been off sick so much of her pregnancy.

Maz - I'm pretty sure you can add any milk together, as long as you treat it as the oldest. A lot of women only get 25ml or so while pumping, and so it is common to add together some from many sessions. Also, during his growth spurt, LO put on 12oz a week for 12 weeks. I wouldn't worry at all! Check out the Weights Graph to see how huge the range of normal is:

Back from Docs. Knew LO would be alright when he made a lunge for the GPs Thermometer and wouldn't hand it back! Temperature is back down and he is napping after the walk. It was very scary, temperature hit 39.5 in the night, which seems a lot higher than his base of 36. Hopefully he is through the worst of it. Hardly had chance to feel sorry for myself either!

Sounds like he's talking out of his rear tara... Sick leave and maternity leave are completely seperate issues...

Maz, you can add to expressed milk over a period of 12 hours, but the milk should be the same temperature before it's added... ie, if the bottle you want to add to is in the fridge, chill the milk you want to add to it first...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Sorry for disappearing - just took Josh nextdoor to play and ended up staying for a cuppa!

Tara - it's the governent that set the length of mat leave - not the employer, they can't reduce her entitlement cheeky bu99ers!

I've never had haggis - what's in it? I always thought it was offal?

They can put you onto Maternity Leave if you're sick after 36wks. She wouldn't be in such a state if she had more support. She fell in work last week on a wet kitchen floor, then before that slipped on food on the stairs between the kitchen and restaurant. He's never done a risk assessment. Doctor said yesterday that with all the hospital appointments and stuff now and her asthma playing up it's because she's anxious, so signed her off for 8wks.
