  • my mum and dad have just put in theirs that everything is to be left to me and my sis and we are to split it how we want. Its fine for us as we get on really well and are quite close, but that would so not work for so many people !!

I hate wills. My MIL always brings hers up and then DH and his bros argue over the house. Then she starts 'well I'll just change it and nobody will get the house!' Know what? The house would b more hassle than it's worth, it;s full of crap in carrier bags! She has one bedroom that you can't get into because it is full of stuff she has bought for presents and then doesn't give away. Seriously has a problem with shopping, think I'm bad? She buys stuff for the kids then won't let them use. Like, she will buy a plastic jewellry set and one of the girls will ask to pay with it, she says NO! and it will sit there all dusty for 5 years till the girls outgrows it anyway but still... won't give it away... This woman had 3 facial saunas! One was a gift and she bought two on sale for herself but has never used them! Most recently was when she bought some J2O's for 'the kids'. The kids asked for one to drink, no she said. Share one? no. Months went past like this and they finally went out of date then she screamed (like full scream) when BIL binned them.

I don't know anything about my family's wills as far as I'm aware only mum's mum n dad have one, no idea if I get anything or if it's split between mum n uncle...
I'd assume my 2 other sets have one as they quite organised but I don't actually know. I wouldn't get much anyway as our family is a bit massive

Who would your children 'go too', for lack of a better word? We have a fair idea but really need to sit down and talk about it properly.
