Aww how funny, living in your bedside drawer!

My nans cat used to bring them in still alive to play with, and one day when my nan was away she lost one while she was playing and I couldnt find it for love nor money, and my nan is terrified of them! About a week went past and I'd given up, when I was watching tv and saw it dash across the room and up the stairs!! Followed the booger and it ran into the box my hair straighteners came in, so I picked up the box and flung it out the window :rotfl:

DKA – It must be awful having to start again when it’s no fault of your own. I hope things look up for you in the new year.

AF – H had really bad bottom wind and we tried Dentinox, Infacol, Colacynth Crystals and Colief Drops. The Colief Drops helped immediately but from what I have read, something different works for everyone. Also, they get mixed with bottles so not sure how many bottles baby girl is on at the moment – it might not be worth it. Anyway, we used the Colief Drops for a month, and then stopped, and she has had no more problems, so I think her digestive system must have improved but we have a bottle just in the cupboard just in case.

SM – My dad works with children and met a 4 year old girl called Lynn last week!!! I would not think there are many around under the age of 20! It’s a funny name for a baby these days isn’t it? He only mentioned it because it’s my name too so not being cheeky!

Thanks CSH - they look nice but bit pricey for me. OH isn't the one who does the DIY here unfortunately so that would be down to me and I don't have the energy at the mo.

They do look easy to make though.
    ...
are any of these any good

Sorry I haven't been posting much and haven't caught up either.

    Anything I've missed?

Not feeling too great, got diapoopoo and a party to go too tomorrow for NYE!

Went to Asda earlier and got some serious bargains.

Loads of bags of medditaranean and mexican flavoured potato wedges down to 5p. Well I pretty much cleared that shelf, frying steak down to 50p and not foosty looking either, grabbed quite a lot of those, bags of salad for 2p.....tangerines 5p, dauphanese potatoes (sp) 10p, sausage rolls 8p, cakes 10p, sausagemeat 10p

MM, sorry that your having it hard with jas tonight....is she a grumpy b00ger in the day if she has went to bed late? Maybe she just doesnt need much sleep? Im guessing youve tried all the tactics, but can she not read in bed for a while, or how long as it takes her to go over? is she still all excited from christmas?
This is the reason im petrified about taking Katies sides of her cotbed!!!!

  • carla, this isnt a new thing, and no she doesnt need much sleep, if she gets at least 7 hours she is grand !! Most kids her age need at least 9 - 11 hours, but she has been like that since she was 3 or 4
Have told her she is allowed to read for a bit, but she wont do that, she like to bounce and run around and change teddy bears and go to the toilet 5 times and anything else that doesnt involve lying down !!!
The two best things I have done with my life
