  • Aless- I agree a week is a very long time for a littley. Could you give your HV a call?I would be very reluctant to give OJ to one as young as Finn, tbh.

SS- boo to the big hospital bill. That sucks big time.

Harley- massage sounds good. Unfortunately we just missd the start of a course but will do the next one.

SS - Yeah we do have roughly about 1k left a month after bills, but that doesn't include food, which I seem to spend an astronomical amount on. Also if OH is to be getting a car soon, then that will take a chunk of it, and quite honestly, I'm a bit of a spend-a-ho. Plus, it's over 1k a month rent on a place with a garden :rotfl:

Sorry to hear about your whopping bill. I'd be

Sm - That sucks. So, can't they claim the money back from the rent people or will they not hand it back over? Seems confusing!

Beccles - Sorry to hear about your sinuses, and Charlottes cold. How awful for James though and his teacher obviously. Must be devastating :( Also, for the poor girl who did an OD. Not nice at all.

I have an Annabel Karmel kids cookbook that I've used, ummm once for the recipe for the fairy cakes in the back, LOL. I reckon Keira would floor me if I tried to feed her some of the stuff. Should really go back and have a look at it though.

Really tired today, I wonder why....oh yes and I woke up to Keira "massaging" me with the metal whisks that attach to my electric whisker. Said she was tickling my back, more like playing bongo drums on me. She really makes me laugh, nutter!

Then she started putting pretend make up on me, because I'm a lady "Cuz, ladies have hairy foofs muuuum, and mans have willys, and when I was a baby you pooped me out your bum and I made you fat"

I wonder if she says things like this at nursery. Do you think she is insane?

Sounds like my OH :( In the night he is so horrible yet he wants J in our room! if J wakes up I have to take him downstairs to settle him and he must be asleep before I put him down so he doesnt disturb OH.
I tend to get '!!!!!!, can you pick him up?' after 1 cry!

I had this last night, OH went to dodgy handshake club and I asked him to watch Lo so I could do bottles (after having him and Henry all day on my own!) after about 2 mins when LO cried - he's like bloody hell I wanted to watch the news:mad:

the gist i got was as long as baby gets a balanced diet (plenty of fresh veg etc) they dont need follow on milk ( 1yr +). the c&g as about needing 20l of milk is a bit ott. no reason why after they turn 1 they shouldnt drink cows milk. sugar is added to lots of baby foods/drinks to make them sweet as babies 'apparently' need food/drink to be sweet to eat/drink.
    Yep thats what I saw

for me the shocking bit was the fact that there is more sugar in 1 farleys rusk (presume its the normal one) than 1 choc digestive!!!!
    I know mad!!
and annabel karamel ready meals for toddlers...had more salt than tesco finest in the same type (cant remember which one)
    And about twice the price!!!

Aless - I wouldn't wait. Like GISI said, give your HV a call. It's what they are there for.

Maz - my OH thinks spending time with Jack involves watching the TV! Very annoying!

Buttons - :rotfl::rotfl:Keira is so funny!
I remember my sister running in the bathroom when she was about 4 and I was in the bath and she was shouting 'Eurgh, there's a spider in the bath' :o

Right, I must get on, J is down his nap and I need to get dressed, have a quick tidy round and sort tea out for later.

It looked like pretty much crappy days all round yesterday! I hope everyone who had a rubbish Monday gets a brilliant rest of the week. :)

SS  for the hospital bill.

Sending poo vibes for Finn! :o

Feelie If you're about - i'm glad your outing yesterday went well. :) Were they a nice group of Mums?
Did you see me ask if you'd managed to try Toby facing outwards in the Mei Tai?

Sparkle - Glad you're feeling brighter. How do you manage walking the dogs - do you take the pram too? Maybe my dog is just particularly stupid - he walks in front of the pram, gets run over, yelps then repeats for the whole walk! :(

Caz How are you feeling this morning. Hope you've had a good sleep.

    Searchie Get ebaying girl! :p

We've been naughty this morning and shared a Maccies Philly bagel. :o

I had to take the car for service - and as suspected I got a courtesy dodgem in return for my huge car! Lucky I didn't have the pram in the car - i'd have had to put the courtesy car in the pram basket. :rotfl:

Lol, a spider :rotfl: I had hairy armpits at 8! Was dead embarrassed in P.E when kids made fun of me, I didn't know that it wasn't normal!! Traumatised!

My OH thinks TV means quality time too, Ok I guess it kinda is when they are both playing eyepet or something, but it's not when he's asleep next to her on the sofa!

I normally get 'Babe, Jack's crying' when I'm in the kitchen cooking tea and Jack is sat in the bouncy chair 2 feet in front of the MASSIVE TV and 3 feet away from OH

I swear when I go back to work, he will have to pull his weight more!
