    Hi GISI

Hope you have a lovely day too. And glad you had a lie in.

I did a one-off massage class when Kezia was about 8 weeks old but all the babies were looking at the person to their right, was really bizarre, so there was no bonding feeling which apparently can be quite good when you massage.
It was lovely, but Kezia wouldn't lie on her tummy at the time so when I tried to do her back she cried then lost interest.

This week she has mastered lying in her tummy and lifting her head for quite a while (sooo proud) so hopefully this will help for the back massage. Shame she can't do one for me!!

This afternoon is the first of 6 classes. I'm not sure you can learn much more after the first class, it might just be an excuse to get together and allocate time to do it. I must admit, after the first week or so after the last class we didn't do it properly with the oil and stuff cos we had a couple of crying episodes so I stopped trying. But hopefully I'll get my act together this time.

    xxx

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I'm having a right bl00dy fight with tax credits at the minute telling me I owe them over £700 and I dont !!
I rang them when ex moved out, end of July which was the time the renewal was due. They BLATANTLY told me that i no longer had to do the renewal because i had given them all the info over the phone to end that claim, and that my new claim was as a single person so totally seperate.

Anyway, they deny all knowledge and reckon i owe them £1200  That's like, all my payments from ex living here, even though we were entitled to them, they want them back cos they're liars.

Hear hear I agree!! Never did me any harm eating mud!!

My mother once caught me licking a worm - to this day she doesn't know that I was licking it clean so I could eat it :rotfl:

Becles, what a horrible day for your boys and you.
Harley, glad Kezia's feeling better. My midwife told me to put my hand where the neck meets the shoulder, and if that feels warm but not too warm the baby should be fine.
MDW, are you feeling better? I'd say don't go - but if you feel better and you need the money I'm sure you'll be ok.
    Sparkle, glad you feel better.
Susan, hurrah for Alice the bridesmaid!
Weezlie, I'm so sorry you never seem to sleep.
Caz, how are you doing this morning?
    SM, feeling better?
BM, go see the doctor complaining of stress and tell him that your neighbour barged in while Keira was nudey buff. I'm sure if she's stressed too you'll get higher priority. But didn't you say you've 1k a month after bills are paid? It might be worth spending some of it on a new place. Start looking privately just in case, maybe?
Bruno, I don't know what to tell you. I hope your OH was just having a bad time.
MOTM haven't seen your update but will go and check.
Glam, does pool water make them sick? How's J this morning? Did he sleep well - swimming always makes me sleep really well. And well done rolling Jack!
MM I hope hydro goes well.

Bit of a crisis here - you probably don't remember, but when OH was in hospital we were going to take him to the UK for private treatment but stayed here because my boss assured me that we wouldn't have to pay full price. We got a bill yesterday for almost 11000 euros - eleven thousand!! - and I asked my boss !!!!!!. His response was that we can pay in instalments. Other than that my Molly is wonderful, my cleavage heaving here in work and I hate leaving her.

Oh, and our Learn and Groove activity station is broken. The disco ball and microphone no longer work, and it's had about three weeks of usage when you take into account the two weeks it spent in transit

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00qcl08/Panorama_Whats_Really_in_Our_Kids_Food/

this is the link for iplayer for the programme last night, i only saw bits of it as i was feeding and settling kian.
the gist i got was as long as baby gets a balanced diet (plenty of fresh veg etc) they dont need follow on milk ( 1yr +). the c&g as about needing 20l of milk is a bit ott. no reason why after they turn 1 they shouldnt drink cows milk. sugar is added to lots of baby foods/drinks to make them sweet as babies 'apparently' need food/drink to be sweet to eat/drink.

for me the shocking bit was the fact that there is more sugar in 1 farleys rusk (presume its the normal one) than 1 choc digestive!!!!

and annabel karamel ready meals for toddlers...had more salt than tesco finest in the same type (cant remember which one)

need to watch it again myself when i have time later.

K having his nap so he should be awake for our first mum/toddler group in 20 mins. ( i have butterflies....wasnt this nervous meeting glam, dora and nms!!)

Oh dear Sugar, that is a bit of a blow. Is that after the 'discount' or has the discount not materialised?

is that the 'special price' or full price??? can your boss do anything?

oh no...K's is working fine although he is only making his way around to the microphone... is everything else working?? the only comments i saw in reviews were that the microphone snapped of after a good bit of use.

    i'd contact them!!

There is no discount, and the discount that was originally applied has been overwritten so it no longer exists :(

We're not hurting for money, but we did just make a couple of expensive purchases that we wouldn't have, you know? The nonrefundable Bermuda trip would pay for a quarter of it and although we do want to go to BIL's wedding we could have not gone. And the bed!

Jillie it's the disco ball as well, it doesn't play the tune any more. OH is calling the company right now, and since he is doubly peeved (my Ikea delivery has been snowed in at Ikea as well as our ridiculous bill) he's going to be a force to be reckoned with.

!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad: Annabel Karmel just said 'An educated Mother would know the RDA for salt & sugar for their child' - all because she doesn't label her food properly!
