and beenie, I am sure you are lurking, how are you ??
I was trying to lurk form my phone in bed but Amber was being a little rogue. Not impressed, she was constantly feeding and if i tried to put her down she'd cry the house down, don't know what's up with her. She didn't let me sleep til 3am, then she was up at 4am, 6am, 8am.... and she was in bed with me.

I think i cursed myself when i said i hadn't needed the gripe water for two days. I am going to buy some Infacol today, because she doesn't need to swallow it does she? Is it just tiny drops? She won't swallow the gripe water no matter what i do.
What's the situation with your neighbours now beenie?

Thanks for asking, they have improved but it's still not good enough IMO. I'm going to make it a priority to get myself on the council list for a 3 bed house, and i'm thinking i might ask my housing officer to give me a few more points for the "relationship breakdown" with both neighbours, i've heard they can do that in some situations. But it's worth an ask i think. I'll prob have 0 points because they'll say DD & DS can share til he's 11, but it's not bloody fair cos my sister got one and hers are only 1 & 4 :mad:
Well you'd die if you saw my pile, everything bar a spoon has been used (cutlery wise) and all the pots have been used. I'm such a skank. I just really detest them! They SUCK. But I have to totally clean this crappolo house tomorrow. Really is a state. Im just so laaaaaaaaazy and can think of a million things Id rather do than fold clothes or mop the kitchen floors.

haha you so remind me of me.:D

That happened here yesterday Jillie, and when I got there there was a baby in his jammies because he did the same thing too :rotfl:
I was just glad Molly was dressed, although she did have a little sick stain that I didn't notice till we were out.

morning all - oops, baby whinging on mat so this will be lightening fast.

once he finally got to sleep around 11, it wasn't too bad last night. really hope doesn't cry all day today - I'm wondering if it's related to the fact that he hasn't done a poo in a week now? honestly, how do you tell the difference between a constipated face and normal baby crying? There's been no hard stools or blood or anything so I have no idea if it's real constipation or if he's just 1 of those that does 1 explosive poo a week and that's it...just wish he'd done 1 already!

(you guys did say you liked hearing about poo :D)

Hmm, I think they're supposed to go more often than that Aless - try rubbing his tummy clockwise, or wait for Weezlie to come and dispense wisdom. Molly poops every time she feeds from the boob, it really is rather upsetting.

A week!! Poor Finn! The most J has gone is 4 days and we did have some proper screaming.
You can do belly massage like Sugar said but always go clockwise cos this is the way the poo goes, you can do tiny little circles in a big arch (kind of like a waterwheel) or just use 2 finger are spread them over his belly in a rainbow shape.

Do you offer him any water? Cooled boiled water does help. My friend gave her LO a teaspoon of Orange Juice once and he then proceeded to go almost straightaway. I think it needs to be the Not From Concentrate stuff.
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

yeah, I've done some research but apparently it's near impossible for BF-babies to get constipated, so . but have read accounts that some just don't go very often! I think if he doesn't go today, I will deffo go to GP tomorrow as even if it's "normal", I still feel like he should have done a poo by now!

have been been tummy massage and bicycling legs since yesterday...had read the OJ trick but am reluctant to try...
