I'm still standing better than something or mumble mumble. How does that song go?
I just made OH a bacon buttie, and a sausage and egg one for his breakfast/lunch tomorrow. Might aswell do something productive if Im awake, that also doesnt involve dishes0 -
"I'm still standing, better than I ever did. Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid!".. Rhys' song
I'm avoiding dishes too.. :whistle:0 -
Well you'd die if you saw my pile, everything bar a spoon has been used (cutlery wise) and all the pots have been used. I'm such a skank. I just really detest them! They SUCK. But I have to totally clean this crappolo house tomorrow. Really is a state. Im just so laaaaaaaaazy and can think of a million things Id rather do than fold clothes or mop the kitchen floors.
Yep, deffo Rhys song! How is he enjoying his food? Has he got any tips for Keira0 -
Die of relief that someone else is as bad as me!
Sounds like my kitchen atm. Tomorrow's challenge, honest (race ya!)
He's up to five ice cubes of rough puree per meal now. Going to have to get bigger bowls out soon! Seems to be enjoying it.. Hopefully we'll be back on track with brekkie tomorrow (today!) - the nurse turned up in the middle of brekkie earlier and it seemed to throw him out of sorts and he didn't want as much as normal then was grouchy all dayMust get some fish soon for him to try - Dad normally gets it free straight off the fish docks.. more MSE than me going to Tesco!

sorry you're uncomfy elle
Hiya button
elle that's a good point! It's weird thinking of a PG without this bit for me, but for you, it's like it's not part of PG at all! Did you get to a fedup of being pregnant feeling or were you still all blooming and enjoying it when the horrid VP reared it's head?

I was just starting to enjoy being pregnant!
Wks 4 to 8 were fine, wks 8 to 18 I had horrid nausea from 4pm onwards every day, wks 18 to 30 I was actually being sick with morning sickness and the week before I had Rhys I'd been fine (cos I was away at the Baby Show the night/day before I had him and I was dreading being ill while away so relieved I'd managed a whole week of being well
).

Right, I'm going to attempt bed.. no more comfy but will make the effort :cool: Combination of the non-rash and a very painful lumpy left boob (TMI?
)
Doc said non-rash could be shingles, could be nothing, just got to wait and see but if it does turn out to be shingles he wouldn't give me anything for it and, most importantly, isn't worried about Rhys either (any baby over a month is fair game for chicken pox, apparently!). He went on to then ask me lots of questions about Rhys and the confusing letters the hospital consultant sends to him (they sound like she's asking for his opinion but he, by his own admission, has no idea at all!).
Hope you two get some sleep soon! xx0
