I'm off to ikea to get 'the' highchair :cool: OH says he'll deffo be able to lop a bit off the legs but may be able to make a set of short legs so we can chop n change - I knew I married him for a reason

Also in approx 6 wks my fairies could be weighed down with a 3seater sofa and matching chair if any locals are interested?

I think everybody needs the chance to show of a little bit, and we all need to be happy for everybody else when their baby does something new. I know it can be hard when babies of similar ages are developing at different rates but we all know deep down that our babies are the best babies and most importantly - we wouldn't swap them for the world!!

(good natured banter is allowed of course )


LOL - Benjamin was 4 1/2 months when he first sat up and he was crawling at 5 1/2 months so watch out :eek:

I've had similar problems 3 on its way with my DD not liking her school transport to school. Have you tried asking the school what they suggest? They will know how all their other kids get to school and what is realistically available for your little one. With my DD, she was taken off the bigger bus and put on a small minibus which zips round the whole borough picking up all the more vulnerable kids for our special school, but we were told that if that didn't work, then their was the option of a taxi to and from school with an escort provided.

I sympathise as I have one at mainstream primary (no special needs but the school is 2 miles from our house so too far for a 10 year old to walk on his own), one at special school about a mile from the mainstream primary, and baby at home, and even with school transport it is sometimes a real juggle to make sure they all get home safely!

Somebody ought to tell that baby that it is rude to point :cool:

I will have the upper hand eventually! When all our babies are 3 and 4 and yours are all pointing at grannies in the street asking why they have hairy chins, or why that (pointing) lady is so fat and my Benjamin still can't do it I will laugh my head off and be proud of my non-index-finger-led boy :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
