The best thing about being pregnant for me was no migraines :D but its a bit drastic to be pregnant forever. :rotfl:

It is just a little bit ;)

Thanks for listening to me moan ladies, I feel a bit silly now but also a little bit better if that makes any sense at all? :) Think I just need to boot myself up the backside and anyone else who annoys me (Watch out Mr Sparkle)

Sparkle I came off cilest because it gave me headaches and made me throw up!!! had you just started a new pack after the 7day gap? I would throw up like clockwork 2hrs after I took the 2nd pill of the pack

3 - are kwik fit not expensive? I avoid chain mechanic things like the plague coz I don't trust 'em though lol but anyway you could just turn up at a tyre place and they'd have your tyres done in about 15 mins

It's part of the car deal thingy, so is a freebie but you have to go through Kwik Fit. I'd booked it in one day last week, but they'd ordered the wrong tyres in, so said they'd come out and do it at the house to save me going back up there.

Aless Have you tried net mums or googling your local sure start centre? Net Mums advertises a few things for my area. HV didn't tell me about anything so I found my sure start centre and phoned them - they sent out a list of what they do in my area.
And the local library does a couple of Mum & baby mornings, but also advertises other stuff.

Our 6 week check was included with the appointment for the jabs.

3 - is there a neighbour or another parent who lives close by who could maybe give DS a lift?

Sami - do you still have your mei tai? Do you use it much? Just asking cause I was bidding on one on ebay, but as Caitlyn's almost 7 months I don;t know whether I'd use it much. I know it's suitable until they're toddlers - but they get heavy as they get older!

He's at a special school 12 miles away, so all of the children are on transport, but my DS has decided he doesn't like the transport home (even though its exactly the same as the transport into school in the morning which he's fine with!).

School Head, Me & the transport department are trying to sort something out, but after speaking to transport on Thursday i'm not holding my breath. Mr Transport was a clueless pillock! :D

I have got four days left of the current pack, which I ran back to back with the last one as it was my birthday beg of Jan and didnt want to be on. I dont think there is any set pattern but have been on it now since Lexi was about 10 weeks old and it just doesnt seem to be 'right'. Will pop in and get an app when I go and get J from school!

  • First time of posting anything and probably getting it all wrong. My wife and I are expecting twins in may. Already have a girl who will be 2 in may aswell. Can anyone suggest freebies or low cost places to get baby bits as i have lost my job and we now only have one salary.

Sorry to all if this is posted it wrongly
  • Sparkle - Of course you are doing things right, lots of things. And 6 is a funny age for little boys at the best of times.

Have you tried praising OH when he does do things? For some reason my hubby has been quite helpful around the house recently and I made sure I thanked him last night in the hope that it carries on ;)

I've emailed every group in the area, and all have said the same thing :(

I've not managed to find any LLL groups either. Distinct lack of breastfeeding socialising going on around here!

Sounds like a gap in the market - maybe you should start one? :D
