I'm guessing you're at work tomorrow and not taking care of the nappies? Would you give him that much if you were on holiday tomorrow?
He always eats that much!! He had grapes twice today because I didn't have enough variety in. He eats at least 5 or 6 portions of fruit a day!money_maker wrote: »Hows this one then ??
Much cuter!!Series 5 as we don't have Sky and never will. Just watched last 2 on disc 4 so will send that back to Love Film and get the next. Getting so confused though as they're skipping back and forwards 30yrs! OH keeps watching them twice.
In our house we have 'lost face' which is that !!!!!! face that you get at the end of every episode!! Also used for any situation where I am confuzzled (more often than I care to admit)!!!

Sorry, wandered off to get an ice lolly
AF, good to hear there's a bit of progressNot that I have a clue what I'm talking about, but have you tried the water instead of milk thing for the middle of the night? Supposedly so LOs think it's not worth the bother waking up if they're only going to get water *confused*
Dora, *hugs* Like MFD, I hope more has changed than the systemYour Dad is right, Daniel will be fine, you are ace, and you'll get the biggest smile when you get home to prove it!

must admit i am starting to think 'rubbish' to being told she doesn't need a feed in the night. i use it as a last resort now but was feeling guilty about 'giving in' (as i saw it) and feeding her if she wouldn't settle.
we have had one night where she didn't have any milk at all, and others where its been a few ounces or so.
i think i have come a decent way in setting some kind of routine and that she goes to sleep at night in the cot and the only time i bring her into bed with me is for her early morning bottle (if she wakes for it).0 -
I'm not staying, not feeling well so sleeping is not great. And the bl00dy owl has just started. As lovely as it is and I keep looking to try and catch a glimpse of it, at 3am I wish it would bog off and catch a mouse or something!
Night all. XXXToo many children, too little time!!!0 -

Mel xWe've got a 4 seater sofa and it's brilliant having everyone squashed on it together
Don't get a budget mattress from Dreams. We got one for Charlotte and it was really really crap! She'd only had it a couple of weeks and she kept waking in the night crying. I got in bed with her and I could feel the springs poking in me. Turned the matress but the same thing happened on the other end.
The aftersales is really pants. Although there isn't anything on the website, a snotty cow told me the budget mattress is for occasional use only and told me off for using it every day. She wouldn't accept that I would expect a mattress to last longer than three weeks with a 2 stone toddler sleeping on it. Then she said it was my fault for buying a cheap mattress and said I was expecting too much for the price!
Ended up writing a letter stating I was rejecting the mattress as not fit for purpose under the Sales of Goods Act. Someone then rang me and I agreed to swap the budget for a more expensive mattress and I paid the difference but they delivered it for free. The new mattress is fine though - lovely and comfy!...
We've been to Costco today and bought a ton of meat to last us the month so i'm off into the kitchen to split & freeze it.
Hopefully will catch up later. xx0 -

i do give her water at times as well to see if that will settle her before the milk. the HV that was meant to come and see me that time said that you shouldn't even give water ... that babies see a bottle as a 'reward' for waking will therefore continue to wake, whether its' water or not.
i get the *confused* thing too, but 10 months in i am starting to listen to what people say/suggest but am trusting myself more to go with what i want to do.0
