MFD - I started a poll to see what people thought of follow on milk. Someone mentioned they gave their 3 kids cows milk from 6 months - not something I'd heard of before!

Not quite last week but certianly not 16 years ago. I said before we know it, we;ll be celebrating Rose having hers!

Glam, have you considered emailing SMA, Aptimal and C & G and ask them if you could have a sample of their follow on milk or a discount voucher as you are due to change your babies milk and would like to see if he is able to take it, but when a new mum on a budget, you cannot afford to buy a full tin inthe event he cant or wont take it ??

Rhys is having five bottles a day, between 100-150ml

glam it was my HV that told me to try erin on cows milk, she had stopped eating altogether and would scream for a bottle each time. She is now eating anything and everything and has such a varied diet that im not worried she is on cows milk. She has been on it for 3 weeks now and will be a year next month.
It is totally up to you but i would say 6m is too early for cows milk and she was taking Aptimal before the switch

We use stage 3 milk. I am sure Weezlie posted something scientific about why it is better to use when weaning. Also, you can get boots points and they can do offers on stage 3.

The 1+ milk is vanilla flavoured according to Sami, so we won't be going onto that!! Will never get him onto moo milk if he has been used to vanilla milkshake.

I had to think of something to do with the numerous milky bars and milky bar buttons MIL keeps bringing! :mad:

what formula is Rhys on elle?? my nephew is on a milk thats totally man made and it smells awful, no wonder he wont drink it lol!
